We used to expect goals to be scored against us, now it feels like a loss when we concede. They both must be a joy to play with for the rest of the side, and they help Klopp get the best out of everyone else.

Not heard anyone say we overspent on either of them, PERIOD- to be honest. These 2 purchases have been lauded if I'm being honest- and I am, by the media and pundits.
They've been surprisingly complementary since day one. Sure you can dig around and find the odd Bitter, but those would be exceptions.

Now... rival supporters... that's something different.

The angled long ball to virgil on the backpost is a weapon we are beginning to use more and more. Its a pity we can’t clone him. A full season up front god knows how many he’d get. Theres never been a player i’ve been so confident of winning a header

He is incredible and treated their lot with the contempt that Everton deserved in his post match interview. Contrast that to Henderson, who couldnt stop telling us how hard a game this was and how good they are.

I make sitting on my settee look more difficult than he makes defending look. He's astonishingly good, by a distance the best defender I've ever seen, not just in a Red shirt.

You could see him getting more and more annoyed today at the work he had to do - particularly when it was caused by poor passes in defence or midfield - but the improvement in our defence this season has been incredible and it's clear he's basically our defending coach.

Deserved an assist for Fabinho burying it late on.

Dominated yesterday, there was a couple of clips of him yesterday live and he was shouting at everybody orchestrating and organizing things. What a monster, dont want to disrespect Henderson here but Virgil is your captain on the pitch, a true leader, calm ,composed, consistent , class.

No surprise this morning to see the likes of Crooks et al trying to sell him to a Spanish team just over a year after telling us no defender in the world was worth £75 million. They don’t like us having nice things.

Not sure the lad himself is in any rush just yet. There was a reason he chose us when he had his pick of clubs last year, so Crooks should get back in his box (someone will need to deflate him first of course).
