If they are to go down, I hope it’s confirmed at an away game, it will be absolute hell if it’s at Goodison.
I feel the exact opposite.  :)

btw -- interesting that their board members feel safer showing up at Anfield than at their shed.

I don’t think these know how to win a game.
Massive game and the weekend against Leeds. A few teams starting to pull away at the bottom, a win for Leeds opens up a nice gap.

We'll be better off anyway, they keep beating us.

Everton and Southampton, every season, no matter how bad they are, they take points off us at their place.

If they get relegated, along with man city, next season could be great.

Imagine Everton Man city meeting in the championship next season . Box office that would be , 90 minutes of laughter.

Think they showed a stat saying they'd taken 13 points from their last 27 away games.

They've got eight away games left, at that rate they'll get another four points from them.

If Leeds and Villa can get the job done in the next two games, even a couple of draws, and we can start believing.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

I understand his point about the fans, but Pickford being the best English keeper since Shilton is a hilarious shout. David Seaman was 10x the keeper Pickford could ever be. Even a prime Joe Hart was much better than T Rex arms.

Dyche obviously don’t rate Mopey. Calvert Lewin is crocked again, Sims getting the nod is very telling.

But also fucking stupid. Guy could barely get into the Sunderland team. Maupey doesn't score enough, but he's at least shown to be a competent PL-level footballer.

It's not the kids fault. Dyche set anyone up to fail. How on earth is anyone supposed to support him when all the midfielders are sat 30 yards from their goal trying to kick our lads.

It was purely a lazy attempt at summoning a Cadamarteri/Jeffers moment.

Undoubtedly, for all of his "I did what I did at Burnley because that's what I had"

He's shown that is what he's about. Sit in, kick, frustrate and try to nick it.

I think they'll stay up (not just because I've backed them to stay up and think I'm reverse jinxing them) but I don't see how this is a long term plan.

Dyche has it in him to get enough 0-0's and 1-0's to keep them up by the skin of their arse, but there is a SERIOUS lack of goals in that team. Their home fixtures could be enough. 36ish points usually does it so they'd need 20 odd points between now and the end of the season. It'll go to the wire.

As I look at their fixtures though you could see maybe 15 points - being VERY generous - from their home games so they're going to need 5 or 6 on the road.

The Leeds game is massive. They lose that and I think the slide is borderline irreversible.

Agree. Absolutely huge game. Lose that and they may well find themselves adrift. Their March fixtures look tasty as well

Two blues earlier were talking about Calvert-Lewin dropping out at the last minute.  The accepted wisdom as to why he's now a perennial crock is because Rafa rushed him back into the team more than two years ago  :o

Not that he's pretty much checked out mentally and his basic physical conditioning is shot.

If Leeds and Villa can get the job done in the next two games, even a couple of draws, and we can start believing.

Yep. The next three home matches are massive. Leeds likely won't have a manager, but they'll have a few defenders back from injury. Villa and Brentford have managers who could at least wrangle a point out of those fixtures.

Forest, Leicester and maybe Wolves if they're on the beach are their best chances to get anything out of their remaining away fixtures.

They have a number of fixtures against sides battling for a European spot, plus two clubs (Fulham and Palace) whose managers would love to take three points from them
