Yep, both goals themselves probably more impressive than anything Walcott (who's being hyped to the high heavens by Sky) has done this season. I still maintain his goal last week was easy pickings for Valdes, poor goalkeeping.

I don't mind losing to the best team in the world, particularly given the injuries we have suffered by the second leg, but what might have been if Wenger had brought a keeper. Almunia made one mistake over the two legs, so yeah he did ok, but strikers feel they can chip him. Not just Messi but Everton's South African for goodness sake. Or a secondry dm, someone whose instinct is to defend, without Song we had nobody to pick up those second balls which set up Messi's first two. 

Ah well, that's life. Not angry with the players, they didn't want for effort but we just weren't good enough. Still, we can chase for the title, winning it would make me feel rather better. Maybe next season, we will be able to not concede 5 stupid goals

What? 1st goal, ball over the top, keeper comes out, defence doesn't follow up. Bad defending no?

2nd goal. Ball over top, cb misses it, the other doesn't cover. Bad goal, no?

3rd goal. Ok probably harsh to call it a stupid goal but we don't pick up the second ball and don't close down Messi quickly enough. I'll withdraw and say only 4 stupid goals

4. Walcott doesn't cover the overlap, defence can't decide if to step up or not, fail to get a midfielder back to challenge for second ball.
