Nike will have loved that tonight.

The chance to put 'World Champions' in their partnership announcement.
When will that be?

Next years kit will break all sales records for us. Aside from people buying when they wouldn’t normally because it’s Nike there will also be plenty of people buying for the world champions badge.

True. You probably won't be able to get it on a NB top this season as it'll take them 6 months to get the shirt into stores.

It took them until sometime in September to get the black goalie tops back in. Nothing special. Just the regular black top

Looks like a wetsuit

Warrior/ New Balance loved that wetsuit look.

Edit: years later, this shirt is even more incomprehensibly weird

Edit 2: you're right, that training top is vile.

Yeah pretty much all the Warrior kits were dreadful besides a couple of the home kits.

Apparently the world champions badge is only allowed in the champions league. So we’ll have 2 kits each for home away and third

Like we do now, as we have a premier league kit with the sleeve sponsor & a european kit with the 6 times & 2019 winners badge

Won't bank on it happening but it'd be great if the WC badge was available to buy on it's own from the club, if it isn't there will be sports shops and websites selling it so you can apply it yourself with an iron

You will be able to but most people who would buy a kit have already bought this years one so they’ll just wait for the new one in the summer.

Those sample kits are awful, I'm guessing they were very early mockups, or simply something NB had just in case they actually won (which they spent 2min designing).

I suppose it is possible that kits like these are produced deliberately in order to confuse the counterfeiters - you put a design out there that is missing key details and hopefully keep the ITKs quiet for a while.

The shield is terrible, better to put the official full logo back than that.
Some clubs were always destined for greatness...

I’m amazed NB haven’t launched a “world champions” range. Seems an obvious earner and their last chance to make any money.

That first one with the pinstripes is a belter.  Shame we didn't go with it.

This brings me to something I have always wondered. If the club did produce the inventory for that, then with the revenue they make they can afford the financial hit.

But what about the street vendors outside Lime Street Station, and dotted around the city on the day of the parade, selling 6 times scarfs and shirts etc?

Granted they need to be prepared, but if we lost that final then it would be a big financial loss for them. I imagine that happened to them with Kiev the year before.

I quite like the version of last season's kit that featured different shades of red. I've often thought we might experiment with using different shades of red, although I suspect it would be a bit too much for some fans.

Spoke to the shirt printing staff at the Williamson Square shop on crimbo eve.

Recons the World Club Cup badge might not be available until about late Jan or Feb, and not sure if it's gonna be available to apply in-store only, or as a take-away to apply yourself.

He did say, anyone who had previously bought this years European shirt, can bring it back in-store and have it applied, but they would refuse to put it on a Premier League style shirt.
