All we had t do is hold on to Andy Carroll and everyone would have been happy this window. FSG have really brought a lot of shit their way without needing to. Think it's only healthy anyway, keep them on their toes.

I think Rodgers has to take some of the blame for not getting a striker, as well as FSG and Ayre.

All parties have got our priorities wrong this summer.

The main thing we needed was match winners.

To be fair maybe Borini and Assaidi are match winners. But we look short in getting goals and getting a clinical striker should have been the number 1 priority this summer.

Just hope Suarez doesn't get injured or we will be screwed!

The club moving in the best direction? We have 2 strikers for the season and Suarez is 3 yellows away from a ban and come December we could be in 10-15th place fighting for survival. Just because we're Liverpool FC doesn't mean we are guaranteed wins, we need goals. Bar Suarez our entire midfield managed 15 goals last season? Dempsey alone got 20 odd. This year we aren't going to make the CL, so that's what 4 years without CL footy. Our reputation can only do so much, we needed to get 2 strikers in today and Ayre and FSG bottled it.

If we had kept Carroll I would have said it had been a good Transfer Window for us, but without replacing him I think its made it a bad one. Very light up front. Lets hope we keep injury free otherwise big trouble.

Striker problem which was evident last season, hasn't been resolved. In fact it's worse as we now have only two recognized strikers in Suarez, who struggles to finish and an unproven Borini. God help us if Suarez gets injured.

Starting to question whether these owners, though not shoving us into to debt, are the people to take us to the next level.

The fact is without a Sheik, or Roman, there isn't much chance of us building a team capable of winning the CL/PL.

I guess on days like this it's natural to feel the need to get a sugar daddy, but is it possible to achieve what we want to achieve in the modern game without the wise investment of hundreds of millions of pounds into the playing staff?
