Mines taken a backseat at the moment as I've got plenty on with work. But hopefully I'll get some time at the end of the week to get through another month! :)

Someone has, amongst other tools.

You lot want to get yourselves over to Champman0102.co.uk

Also most probably has the answer to why your game is crashing in 2012.

I've seen that site. They've done some good things.

And it's not my game that crashes in 2012.

And there are hundreds of unanswered questions in their technical support section, so they aren't that hot on working out bugs.

I have a fully stable game using numerous patches and data updates from there. Either way, it's a bigger forum for this game, and if you have a problem you're more likely to get the answers there than here.

What Tapani patch and data update have you based your downloads on?

3.12 I think. Can't remember right now as I'm not at home.

Keep getting an error message when trying to install this.

It says that there's a problem moving the .exe from cm to Cm.

Any thoughts?

Are you following the instructions that are with it?

To the letter. I'm not a computer idiot either so I'm getting really irritated with myself now.

Haha, ok! I was just checking.

Not sure what the issue is then mate, as it works fine for me and most others.

I'm Liverpool. Was miles behind United but managed to beat them, and go on a winning streak towards the end of the season to clinch it.

I had a problem with the FA Cup fixtures because while I was playing United in the FA Cup Semi final, the other semi final said something like.... Ebbsfleet or Bury or Chesterfield or Crystal Palace or Leeds or Newcastle - for ages - so I imagine it forgot to play a 3rd round or 4th round game somewhere.

Really trying to bring through the youngsters. I love the simplicity of this game, and the speed. Just been bringing in coaches and looking extensively for young players- I love bringing them through.

I have 'cheated' by taking control of Scottish clubs so people actually loan my youth players. I know its a bit shitty to do but they never seem to offer even though all my reserves are up for loan lol. As the game is quite quick we should organise a network game or something to play once a week for 2-3 hours or something.

I want to take Liverpool to a decades worth of success and have a team made up of entirely players who came through my youth system (I will do a proper Wenger). Then I want to take control of AFC Liverpool, bring them up to the league and finish above Liverpool  :D - gonna take a while

I do the same with loans. I take over clubs with no manager and try to get my youngsters out for experience, otherwise you never get bids in for them.

I also have an AFC Liverpool saved game on the go, which I haven't played for a few weeks. I was top of the league with them though.

Who ended it?

Just had a look, it was a 2-0 loss to Man City away on the 14th May. Although I played them at home on the 16th May and done them 5-0! I was in every competition so all my league games just got postponed to the point where I ended up playing for 2-3 weeks every 48 hours and my whole squad was knackered.

Just had a look at the manager stats, I'm in October 2014 and I've won 20 cups and 4 leagues. Although this season appears to be a little more difficult, currently in 4th - 8pts behind Spurs who are top. Fortunatley I've got 3 games in hand!  :D

Odd thing is that even though my manager rating is world class when Manager Jobs to appear for good teams they opt for someone else, i have to end up taking on jobs for lower ranked team who just sacked their manager because they are under threat of getting relegated.

Is there something i'm missing, i even tried resigning to see whether i could get a role under a better club still nothing.

From Liverpool (won everything) to Livorno (one the league and champ league) and now just moved over to Hamilton in scotland, loving every minute of it though!

I've got that problem as well.

Even most of the lower ranked teams don't want me either.
D1 Peterbrough choose the completely inexperiencd Owen Hargreaves as Player/Manager ahead of me.
And D3 Stockport opted for Darren Ferguson. :(
