Started a game the other week with us. Into the second half of my third season. So far I've won the league twice, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the European Cup and the World Club Cup and the Super Cup.

Starting line up tends to be;

Reina
Johnson Agger Chiellini Enrique
Krasic Gerrard Henderson Iniesta
Suarez Tevez

Bench includes Jovetic and Pato. Iniesta only cost 11 million as well, bargain. Barca have tried to buy him back about five times. On course to win the league for the third successive season now. Thanks for this AnnieRoad! Keeping me busy waiting for the FM12 crack.

You give any credit to the lads at www.champman0102.co.uk for the updating lad? (unless you did it ALL yourself.....)

They update it regularly, theres updates going back to 05/06 season.

Loads of other stuff on there too, challenges, stories etc.

I know they always get people putting it on Ebay and selling the game as if it's their own.

I've done a load of editing. Put AFC Liverpool in the Conference and am having a go with them.

You download it and copy it over the Data folder in the C:\Program Files\Championship Manager 01-02 folder.

Word Document? The only one i can find is a txt document full of websites

Wow can't believe only just seen this thread - now downloaded and ready to start first game tonight, like falling in love all over again.

Like others on here just can't find time or inclination to immerse myself into the detail of all the newer versions even tho I've tried nearly every year since this classic.

Cheers Annie Rd, let you know how I get on. Seem to remember having loads of success with top class Attcking Mid. At the time that was Aimar then Ronaldinho.

I started one with Man City and thought the same.

I bought Lavezzi who cannot stop scoring in the league. Also, Raul Albiol from Madrid but he has been poor since his arrival!

Only just stumbled across this thread and I am so impressed! Hats off to you Annie Road, I'm downloading now can't wait to start playing. I've been trying to download the new Football Manager for days but can't, and as everyone on here is raving about CM I'll give it ago.

So, about 10 mins after postin this, Bayern made a 6 mil offer (so i did) he decided to join me, and gets a work permit?? Scored 10 goals for me so far (im in January).

Is there an up to date editor? Because I am creating players and when I load them into the game they are 10 years older than what they should be. Or am I doing something wrong?
