Question, when the new database is uploaded and I choose to install it, do I have to start a new game?

Got it all installed, done the data update but the starting season is 2001/02. How'd you get it so it starts in 2011/12 like the screenshots you guys are posting?

Tried a few data updates for 2010/11 but always starts with in July 2001.

Downloaded the one in this post:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PHZTUP1L

I've uploaded it again - and done more updating.

Do I need more than that set of data files?

Just tried a couple more off the CM01/02 site to see if it was me (which it still probably is!).

You played Mukendi?

That's daring! Although he did score!

Had to mate. Carroll was injured and i am yet to sign a decent back up striker. Even got knocked back by Wolves for Doyle.

P.S That was Mukes 2nd goal in 2 games. Slotted on his League Cup debut against Barnsley.

Is there an up to date editor? Because I am creating players and when I load them into the game they are 10 years older than what they should be. Or am I doing something wrong?

Prolific scorer against Liverpool, no?

Because of the patch, you need to make them ten years older on the editor.

So, for example, Steven Gerrard was born on 30/5/1980 - so you put 30/5/1970 on the editor so that it adjusts correctly.

I give Adam Morgan a go before Ngoo and Mukendi. He's done alright for me, chipping in with a couple of goals against lower league opposition.

If you want to use the new database then you do need to start a new game because any previous saved game files are based on the database that it was created from.

Nice one, I can't start a new game as I'm into January on my first game 'back' and currently unbeaten. Goals coming from all angles, and have thumped Everton 6-0 and 5-0 on the way.

Does the new database make Liverpool a bit less unbeatable? Only asking as I've just finished my second season winning everything along the way!

The league was a record breaker P38 W36 D1 L1!

The best stat by far though where my top scorers, Suarez 44, Gerrard 39, Carrol 39 and Iniesta with a paltry 22! These where dwarfed by David Villa's 65 goals in 44 games for Barca so I've just snapped him up for next year!

All in all though I'm enjoying it so thanks for the download!

It shouldn't be Liverpool biased, no.

The latest update certainly isn't, as they finished sixth on my Ajax game.

Yeah, think I'll give it one more season with us and then move on to a new challlenge! Wanna see how many goals I can get out of Villa first... My flat mate is a Coventry fan so I suppose I'll have a crack with them  ;D
