Just finished the 3rd episode of season 3 this morning, and got to say this season has had a little bit of a slow start.

Season 3 finished. Great stuff. Want to move straight on to season 4 but the missus has spoken...so it's Mad Men season 4 next. Can live with that.

Keep veering from not liking Walt or Jesse to thinking they're great. Only episode I didn't enjoy was "Fly". Bit of a waste of time, but we'll allow em one indulgence. The rest rattled by.

Maybe I missed the significance of it but it didn't seem to move things on. Then again I was a bit dozy after a long day. Might've seen it differently in a different mood. Were they being a bit pretentious with it?

Cheers for that. I really enjoyed the Sopranos "bottle episode" he mentions, and the earlier one in Breaking Bad in the RV, so it's nothing against that type of thing. Just different strokes as King Rich said.

The whole episode was incredibly tense and unsettling. Just a horrible sense of dread over the whole thing, and the ending...

Such an amazing show, got season four downloading right now.

it's brilliant and there are no holds barred. They even kill Skylar off ( although really the actress wasn't happy with the money on a new contract so they had no choice)

i've just emerged blinking into the sunshine after watching every episode of breaking bad in a breathless rush over the last few days. an astonishingly good show. just... wow. near faultless consistency over four seasons.
