Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

It's all about Mario though, he's a self centred individual. As long as Mario gets the plaudits all is OK. Rodgers has said time and time again that he puts the team before any individual, so he's gonna turn around and put this fella in the team, one who knows he had the be the  centre of attention because why else would you wear a t shirt with that bollocks on, why else would you start a fight on a training ground, why else would you have him celebrating like the fucking hulk, quick pan the camera to Mario, see what he's doing now.

Balotelli WILL NOT be signing for Liverpool- Rodgers does not want him here, it is either Falcao or Eto'o and is dependant on whether a deal can be reached to send Di Maria to PSG, in which case if he does Falcao is Madrid bound and if he doesn't Falcao is coming here, Eto'o will be signed if Falcao isn't.

yes thank god we got rid of suarez. Don't know what we'd have done if we'd kept him in the team.
Like, maybe he would have taken a bite one more time and get a lifetime ban from all football?

2 things that rarely happens with transfers happened to us this season;
a) Someone failed a medical.
b) Someone failed to agree personal terms after the fee was agreed.

Correction: any mad shit that can happen in a transfer saga usually happens to Liverpool in my experience, you only have to look at MickyRyan, Mo Salah, the mad Torres/Carroll day in January etc etc etc

The main scouts (hunter, fallows) were at Man city when Ballotelli was there so maybe they have seen something positive or things rodgers can work on. We had a similar situation with sturridge where Rodgers told him before signing this was his last chance at a big club and you would think Ballotelli would be in a similar situation.

Balotelli was a mentally unstable guy during his days at Man City.

But what's his behavior/attitude like in the last 2 seasons in Italy?

LOL, I think it's always a safer bet than thinking there'll be a situation like the above.

Damn, I miss Suarez. We won't see another like him.

No I don't think we will.

He was mad at times, unreliable at times, but the bloke had it all.

And I'm not sure I've ever seen such a sheer will to win and never say die attitude in a player.

And thats the problem.

We're constantly comparing potential signings to Suarez and its killing us.

We simply cannot and won't replace him.

But there's players that can bring other things to the team, and make us equally if not more successful on the pitch.

I'm all for Balotelli.

He's a marketable player and worst case scenario there will always be a buyer for him in Italy.

He's still only what.....24?  A young man.  A mad as a hatter young man but could well start to mature/ settle down.

We offer a stable environment and staff with good man management skills so if he's going to settle down anywhere, we're a good bet.

Sturidge's only problem was in picking the teams he played for. Balotelli's is in how he plays for the teams he's picked for.

There is a major difference.

To compare the ego and attitude of Sturridge and Balotelli are just ridiculous. Sturridge wasn’t given a chance at the Oil rich whore clubs. Balotelli is screwing up his own career because of childish behavior.

You're actually attempting to compare Sturridge (and Anelka to be honest) to a player who has consistently caused issues on the pitch, at the training ground and outside of football?

I'm sure the environment, surroundings, colleagues, training, everything counts for a lot and 'if' we did go for him it would be because the management felt they could steer Mario in the right direction.

'IF' we go for Balotelli I think it will be a permanent move rather than a loan as AC obviously want to cash in to strengthen several areas.

I personally don't see a problem with a permanent deal (if we were of course interested in him in the first place!).

Balotelli would always have suitors in Italy if things didn't work out with his next team.

all pie in the sky without any credible sources.. Didnt BR come out and say he has no interest in singing him. That should put it to bed to be honest... however.. signing him (or taking him on loan) and taking Etoo for 6months to a year would be decent business and give us 3 good goalscorers (before you throw in Rickie lambert whos a good goalscorer too respectively).

Admittedly those two Italian articles quoted earlier are from sportmediaset. It's not the most reliable of sources normally, but it's owned by Berlusconi, who also owns AC Milan, so there might be something to it.

It clearly states in the italian articles re balotelli that we will initially get him on loan, which would be wise on our half. While Mario has his problems, he has the potential to be brilliant in the right setting.

Much rather him than the bombastic fee Napoli will be demanding for Higuain once they are out of the CL next week (and yes, i saw his goal yesterday).
