Was thinking the same myself, looked like he could have got his head on it.
Now you think Ronald McDonald gonna go down to the basement and say, "Hey Mr. Nugget - you the bomb. We sellin' chicken faster than you can tear the bone out. So I'm gonna write my clowney ass name on this fat-ass cheque for you."

Half Time 0-0, think we've been the better team from what I saw of the match. Just need to try and get Pacheco involved more.

So the mancs can afford to bed in players - Tosic - who will eventually cost more than Pennant, Reira, Kuyt or Babel.

I remember when we could do that.

If you don't rate Antwi, then give Big Joe a chance

Big Joe is woeful. Overweight, slow, has the turning circle of the titanic, and the only reason I can guess he's the captain of the U-18's is because the rest of them are afraid he'll kick the crap out of them. Its no wonder we let him trial with Wigan earlier this season

Think it was a foot injury as he seemed to hobble away from a challenge in the 1st half.

Weijl did more in his first two minutes than Bruna did the whole game. Had high hopes for Bruna, as did everyone, when you see Madrid were at pain to see him leave, but I don't think he'll make it.

No idea what's happened with Plessis, his confidence is just shot to bits. If we could splice Lucas and Plessis, we'd have a great player in our hands. Simon's deadwood to if you ask me, think he'll be off at the end of the season.

Where's Palsson from by the way? He's Icelandic national I think, but you can tell he's not native or whatever. Haha, as I type this Ngog misses a sitter, don't even think we've had a shot on target tonight.

Also, Bruna's 18 today. Happy Birthday Gerardo! :)

Tosic will cost a maximum of 8 Million.

Kuyt cost more than that, as im pretty sure Rieira and Babel did too ???

Tosic has 'Manc' written all over him. Dived twice in the first two minutes, once for a pen, the other in an area in his own half, so was blatantly trying to get whoever it was that 'fouled' him booked, then went on and hacked Degen down.

c*nt.

FT 0-0

N'Gog nearly got in at the end between 2 defenders but just got crowded out and hit a tame shot.

Pacheco's blatantly been given the CM role to get on the ball more and 'toughen up', and it's working.

Martin Kelly was immense tonight, as ever.

Thought he was Man of the Match, Hughie gave it to Spearing though.

Dissapointed that Irwin wasn't in the squad considering the game against Middlesbrough last week, 0-0 at half time he came on in midfield and we won 2-0, unless he his injured  ???
"I was pleased also with Peter Crouch. We have been talking to him, before and after his nose operation, to show more confidence with his heading.

"Now it seems to have worked. Lets say that if he has a few games without scoring again, maybe we should arrange to break his nose again."

El Zhar was good but no end product, Ngog got into some promising postions but again, no finish. Weijl hit a couple of good passes when he came on, didn't see enough of Palsson, er, I mean Victor Palsson ( ;)) to be able to make a judgement.

do like the look of Palsson and for whoever it was that asked I believe his father is from Portugal

N'Gog might not look very good but at least he wasn't invisible like Simon.

Once we get Huth or San Jose back, I think Palsson and Spearing together could run a show quite nicely with Pacheco operating in the hole behind somebody, maybe Eccleston?

Brilliant prospect.
