FYI the Finals schedule. Game 1 in Boston if Boston wins, Game 1 in Den if Mia wins game 7 but the schedule time/channel is set.

Miami's gone. Celtic's momentum -now especially at home for game 7- is surely too much for Miami to overcome.

Annoying bastard of a team - Celtics at times last night should have blown them away and they just score 3s from nowhere

Wow. Did not see the Heat stopping all this momentum, especially away from home.

Fair play, and so the Finals are now set.

Tatum sprained his ankle on the first play. He played as well as possible considering that.
Brown was terrible.

The fact he was even able to play on and contribute as much as he did was amazing. Brown was shocking, we should be looking at trading him IMO

Didnt know that, was wondering why he was so sluggish. The whole team were awful with their 3 point attempts, completely froze. Heat are machine like, impressive, especially butler , big game player.

Boston offense couldnt not hit shots and didnt really drive the rim well.
Tatum Healthy would have helped but like Brown supposed to be a guy who can be a #1 option didnt look like tonight

Haha Celtics.

As a Knicks fan this is beautiful, makes up for getting eliminated by the Heat.

Will the Nuggets be undercooked for the finals, 10 days between games is a longtime.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Heat take a 2-0 lead back home to Miami.

I would be shocked if the Heat won game 1 in den after playing a game 7 with 2 days rest going to High elevation.
Team are really bad in game 1 after playing a game 7. That Altitude adjustment is much harder when it basically 2 days and Denver Lives there all year.
Mia coaching wise can scheme up on Den just about as well but Denver has answers to basically everything and 6'11 center who passes like a PG.

It's one thing to defend well against a misfiring Celtics team who do almost nothing except miss threes, a fit Denver is going to be a very different proposition.

Mia have defended well vs everybody including Bucks but technically Offensive rating Boston the first team they faced however Boston really reliant on 3s, Denver is not and will beat you many ways. Mia cant play zone vs Den with Jokic on the court. Den been the best offense in the playoffs, im pretty sure if not it Mia.
Spoelstra going come up with some good game plans but Den also a team that super good at solving everything(player wise and coaching staff)
Mia has the best coach in the league which includes the staff but I don't think it a huge mismatch coaching wise Malone and the rest of the staff do a great job for Denver.

A sweep would've been worse, but man, losing game 7 after coming back from 3-0 is a huge blow for them.

The Celtics need to make changes this summer. No idea if that's Mazzulla, trading Brown, or moving on some role players, but something is missing with this group.
I love mankind; it's people I can't stand.

Can't wait for these finals, two underappreciated teams that feel like genuine teams rather than two or three star attractions surrounded by supporting acts. Feel like it might be worth feeling shit at work for most of the next week and a half.

Nuggets win 104-93. Jokic had 27 Points on 8-12 shooting(1-2 from 3) 10-12 from the line 10 rebounds and 14 assists(10 in the First half). Murray also dropped 26 points and  10 assists. Denver Being so Big in the front court is a problem, Nobody can really defend Gordon or MPJ also.

Heat shooting dropping down to a more realistic level is the most obvious thing to ever happen. Been at superhuman levels against the C's around 50% and now down to 25%

Can't see anything but a Denver win, think they'll sweep them as well. Miami might win one at home but this is a foregone conclusion

Yes, looks like Denver's size is really bothering them. Jokic didn't even try to score in the 1h but tore them apart with 10 assists in 1st half. Denver moves a lot for cuts under the basket and they have the best teammate to find them when they move.

Miami had 2 FTs in Game 1, the lowest amount of FTs in NBA playoff history. They're playing small and don't challenge the paint. We'll see if/how that changes tonight.

I admit to not watching Denver, and know little about Jokic, but seeing him over these playoffs? My goodness, that man has a soft touch and a laser-sharp passing accuracy for a 6'11" centre.
Oh, these sour times.

No one admires resilience when you were just plain wrong all along - that's just twattishness.

The Jokic Lineups seems a little off tonight but Miami shot making was just incredible and won them that game.
Den still had a 124.1 points per possession

Jokic and Murray are incredible
They gotta ship out MPJ for a good piece and they are in the finals net 3 years.
MPJ is so inconsistent and does not show up in critical games. Even Malone had enough of it and gave Braun the minutes.

There no chance they trading a 6'10 40% 3 point shooter. He up and down at times but he can go off. Shots are just not going this series he been big at times in the playoffs. Sometimes he doesnt close, that fine when you have other player that can.

His defense is a liability, shooting pretty badly and guess what, most are open looks.
You gotta expect much much more from a 5 years 180M contract player.
