From avforums its hard to see how many are actually affected by the problem and but also worrying that some seem to think the problem is worsening on affected sets, anyway givne the lack of certainty about a fix yet I'll hold fire for now
It's like anything else.
The people affected will always post a comment, others who aren't don't bother.
There is a poll and there are considerably more people who don't seem to be affected than those that are,and I would presume most who have the problem has voted whereas those that don't probably haven't even seen the poll.
Not something I'm worried about to be honest as I have never seen it.
Makes me laugh though, when people are actually going out of their way to find a problem that will gnaw away at them throughout their viewing.
Thing is Filo,at this rate you'll never buy a new one, because the perfect TV isn't out there, and that includes CRT's.Even the Pioneer's have faults/problems posted on there and I don't even look into the LCD section and I would hate to see how many complaints are on that forum and that would only be the problems that are native to LCD's ie noise, poor blacks, ghosting etc never specific problems to the TV itself.
