cause I'm an idiot in short terms  ;D but actually because the Philly defense has given up the 3rd least amount of fantasy league points to RB, and I have White and Conner with favorable match ups, so I thought Philly would stiffle Barkley.

That's as dumb as picking a RB at #2 overall. Are you sure you're not Dave Gettleman?  :P

Good to get the win but alarm bells would have been ringing if we hadn't beat this Giants team. Barkley is great but their decision to take him over a quarter back looks worse every week.

If you don't have a quarterback in this day and age then you won't be competitive. I couldn't believe the Giants decision at the time not to take a quarterback in the draft and like you say this is only exacerbated each week. Barkley is quality but with Eli at the helm his pick was always going to be a luxury one at best.
Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".

Yep, can have the best running back in the league and it doesn't matter if you've got fuck all passing game. I mean, they were up against our woeful secondary that had given up over 700 yards and a 70% completion rate over the previous two games. If you can't get anything going against that then you're fucked.

I mean, damn, that is a stacked RB group you've got there, but still. Like you said you should've put him in and flexed one of the others, Saquon is a monster he has to start every game at this point.

He should be trading some RBs so the rest of us can have a good one.

If you do, do 20 teams then split them into 2 leagues of 10, with both leagues having there own draft, then have usual playoffs but own super bowl with the best team from both leagues.

I'm still not convinced the Jets have their quarterback for the next decade or more.

Darnold was a turnover machine in college and I don't see that changing much in the NFL.

Giants surely have to take Justin Herbert in the '19 draft right?

I agree about Darnold as as bad as Eli is now and they need to end the era of him. Picking Barkley was the best choice but now still being shit, it’s sureky a given they’ll get Herbert.

The issue with that is that he'll probably need a few seasons to develop and by the time he does, Beckham will be beyond his peak, and even Barkley could be near it given that RBs usually peak early.

It's crazy how picking such a fantastic player can be a pretty bad choice.

But once Mayfield went, I think Barkley was worth picking then. I honestly think Mayfield was there top choice.

I understand that way of thinking, but I just feel like too many things have to go right for them to make a deep playoff run with Beckham and Barkley in the squad.

Despite that benefiting my opposition in fantasy, Russell Wilson is just great fun to watch. Like in football, love a player who is calm in a crisis and never looks rushed
