Did they even colour the helmets back then, I thought they were just plain leather helmets at that point?

It definitely seems like an odd choice on their part, most throwbacks tend to try to evoke nostalgia so they sell more jerseys, which doesn't seem to be the case with this one even if they weren't ugly.

Damn, need to get some science together to submit to the conference.....
 
That maybe a tough one to get tickets for. "Derby"game be loads of Packers fans after tickets.
