One thing for sure, the weight wasn't all mind games and he didn't have chains in his pockets
Ruiz fought like a make a wish competition winner. Didn't show heart of a champion there. Doubt he becomes champ again. In the championship rounds you'd expect Ruiz to bite on his gumshield and risk getting ko'd but nope Excellent from AJ
If your moral compass is Piers Moron then I ask you to think whether someone who oversaw illegal phone hacking and published fake pictures depicting War Crimes is an appropriate person to look up to. In fact, I'd suggest you're a bit of a c*nt.
Terrible fight. That's not what people want to see. His tactics were to avoid Ruiz all night, instead of facing him.
Will he fight Fury?
Very impressed with Joshua. I thought he would use those tactics but eventually run out of gas and get caught around round 9 or 10. Maybe be finally realised that pumping iron was doing him no favours stamina wise.
I'm telling you, Bowie died and it's all gone to fuck.
That was Shiite from Joshua, I expected more.
Probably a tactical masterclass, but, as i'm not a boxing expert, it just looked like Joshua is a massive shithouse who would be destroyed by Wilder or Fury.
Craig Burnley V West Ham - WEST HAM WIN - INCORRECT
Never been so sure that Wilder KOs Joshua after that, he was rightly scared or Ruiz' power and he used jab and movement to avoid it, I'm not sure with Wilder's physical attributes that game plan works for too long.
No he fought a fight to get a job done. Different s tactics for what’s in front of you. Do the tricky reds play the same against Bournemouth as they do against city or united for that matter? Why would they. Joshua knee he could get caught on the inside going toe to toe. Madness to start a ruck. He boxed clever. Excellent display. Not every fight has fireworks.
It wasn’t shite. He comprehensively out boxed Ruiz, rocked him a few times too.
'Who wants to see a third fight?' says the loser.'NO FUCKER!' says the rest of the world bar Mexico.
Ruiz is a bum, Joshua should be putting in a performance against this kind of opponent. Do you think the likes of Fury or Wilder would struggle against him?
Ruiz just said that he wasn't best prepared and not in the best shape.........that's his fault and if there's a third fight then he needs to be much fitter and lighter.
Wilder is VERY inaccurate. WHEN he lands it is lights out but it takes a few rounds more often than not. His chin isn't great. If Ortiz was in better shape, he would have stopped Wilder in the first fight, and Ortiz is 67 years old.
AJ said it first
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.
If anyone is going to put a few fingers deep into my arse it's going to be me.
Joshua did put in a performance against Ruiz tonight. If he fights like that he beats Wilder, not sure about Fury.
