I'm with Kane Williamson roasting a turbot.

Won't say how long, but that turbot will be burnt to a cinder  :P

If you wanna join the ODI draft party sign up here. A fun way to spend time when trapped at home.

We could use a few more drafters.

Dean Jones apparently passed away last night, he had a heart attack by the sounds of it.  He was commentating on the IPL only hours earlier.

Sad news.

Wow thatís really shocking.

One of the all time great ODI batsmen Australia produced. His running between the wickets changed the level.

The double ton in the tied Test. A top 5 Australian Test innings.

And a great and proud Victorian.

RIP, Deano.

That is shocking news. Great batsman to watch in his pomp, changed perceptions that lazy singles could be turned into pressure laden doubles for the fielders.

RIP

Very sad news. I have a mate from Melbourne who was a handy cricketer back in his day who mentioned a clinic Jones did talking about how to turn ones into twos. Remember him being a thorn in Englandís side (which Aussie wasnít?!) in the late 80s and early 90s.

Far too young. RIP

Too young to have witnessed his cricket but he seemed like an incredibly likable person from his commentating and developed a huge fan following in India.

His commentary and related antics will be missed. RIP Professor Deano. :(
We won't make any big signings this season and we will go back to being a top4 club.

After every second place finish we failed to capitalise and this year ain't looking much different.

Think he scored a double hundred (or big hundred) in Madras/Chennai back in the day that lasted for hours and left him severely dehydrated. Remember reading about it in a Wisden book about heroic performances I got one Christmas.

RIP he had a big role in changing the ODI game. Was always a fun and goofy character as a commentator as well.

It was this game, a pretty rare tied test.

He told Border he was feeling unwell. Border ribbed him about chickening out. So he stayed out there and was on saline afterwards.

Specifically ribbed about Queenslanders being tougher than Victorians.  :D
