The day after a gutting CL final defeat we still had a million out on the streets the next day on the Sunday and it wasn't even a bank holiday (and we also missed out on the title the last day the week before, whereas they won the league last week).

However having that flat track bully who can guarantee those points against tricky inferior opposition has got them over the line this last two seasons (eg we would not have lost to Palace or drawn at home to United with Haaland in our team). I wouldn't be surprised if Pep wouldn't mind seeing him go but I just don't know where since Madrid is surely off the table this summer.

Parade - its insane that a team winning the title is going to be seen as an anti-climax, but this parade today has the potential to be utterly farcical.

It was a similar performance to what they put in at Spurs and he did bail them out with the goals. Spurs just fluffed their chances.

I don't think Haaland is all that effective against well organised defences though - he's great at waiting for his chance or punishing shit defending. His overall gameplay is awful though. Evans and Maguire at the back and he probably bangs a couple in, no problem, but Varane and Martinez had enough about them to marshal him.
