The Thiago thing changes how we should be filtering the people talking about transfers... The local press directly denied we were interested (I think the Echo went with 'fantasy' at one point) .... the 'in the loop' main stream press said he wasn't an active target.... all the British press said that we had to sell a first choice midfielder before we could approach him.... By contrast several ITKs and most credible journalists in Germany were adamant it was happening Massively increases the transfer fun potential in the future
Didn't take long for people to moan again. Wish people would trust the Management.
Liverpool interested in Wolves forward Diogo Jota.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
Yup.If Klopp rates a young player he plays them or promotes them in the hierarchy. Just watch his actions not what comes out of his mouth to the media. If you want to know how he feels about a player it's that simple to meIf we're selling him he doesn't rate him sufficiently
paul joyce@_pauljoyceLiverpool interested in Wolves forward Diogo Jota.KNEW IT
This going to be like Fabinho isn't it, with Jota signed in about 27 minutes time?
Thank Fowler we're not getting Caulker
Joyce reporting we're interested in Jota now. Wonder if Hoever came up during discussions over Jota.
FSG want the Thiago money back I bet. And if no one wants Karius, Grujic, Wilson, Shaqiri, Origi. Then someone gotta go.
Well, at least no one can whinge about us staying quiet!
James Pearce says its over 10 million. So people are saying they'd actually turn down say 12 million for a lad who the manager doesn't really rate, whose barely played for us and never in a significant game, who has literally 5+ players in front of him in the positions he can play who cost us about 100k a couple of years ago?? We all want to strengthen the team and win more shit ... this is exactly the kind of business that helps us to do that. It's a positive not a negative.
Bollocks
Pity about Hoever but the lad deserves to play first team football. We can’t keep on adding to a squad and at some stage we need to sell. He looks a good player and I hope he enjoys himself at Wolves.
Fantastic bit of business in the end. This is what our academy should be about. Every now and then we get a player or two good enough to make a real, legitimate impact for the first XI or squad. The rest generally aren't good enough, but through loans and getting to train with the first team and our fantastic coaching staff, eventually move them on to create a nice bit of profit for the club to re-invest in players who will actually make an impact to our matchday squad.
Er, why are we selling Hoever?
