what the fuck's he doing on the bench then??! One thing I'll never understand in football...they're fit to play or they're not

probably not fit enough for 90mins i guess..same goes for sakho...

if anything were to happen to him, the moan fest here would be unbearable..

bla bla why play him if he is injured...bla bla should not have started if not fit....bla bla was at fault for the goals bla bla bla....

What's this thing with the white nets then?
Also how can you be fit to be on the bench yet not start, like Jack said, you're either fit to play or you're not?

Does it really matter what colour they are, though, as long as our players are putting balls into them?
As long as it's not Carra-style. ;)

Maybe it's just tactical? Or has somebody some information saying Klavan is injured?

Hmm... wondering why players returning from injury are mostly never started and brought on the last halfhour...

Lovren and Gomez are injured, Sakho's not match fit. Klaven (according to the manager) has an injury too but presumably he's able to play if required.

What about ilori? If he can't get in now there's no chance for him.

So Leicester have gone back to last seasons side just without Kante. No Musa or Gray, thought they'd done well so far or have they not?

Imagine not signing a left back when James Milner is the first choice.

Oh well. At least Sturridge is playing so hopefully we can win. Origi and Coutinho from the bench on 60 is a good option. Lucas at CB in the very first game after the transfer window closes makes the fact we tried to push Sakho out even more hilarious.

Seeing Klopp and Buvac standing there in the sunshine with the backdrop of the new stand looming behind them it really feels like a revival, if not a revolution, is at hand.

C'mon Redmen let's cap the inauguration with a win and rebuild fortress Anfield.

Baffling choices to us on the outside.  I'm sure the manager has his reasons though.

Again, how is Lucas declared match fit over Sakho and Klavan ?

Against Vardy, Mahrez and Musa, this is a genuine concern. Milner adds to the uncertainty.

Having said that, we will probably smash 5 past them anyway.

It's really not that difficult to believe where Sakho is concerned given the last time he played was at home against Everton at the end of April and he had no real involvement in pre-season.

3,2,1...clean sheet? I believe in that, despite idiots telling me Lucas and Milner are not defenders.

Conceded 3 at Arsenal, two at Burnley and one at WHL. Zero today. Hope we score. 1:0 Milner, dodgey penalty. common the red men  :wave
