I remember him blowing out of his arse after sprinting from the halfway line for a one-on-one chance which he missed. Got sent off 45 minutes into his league debut too. Just an absolute flop.
Best free in LFC history. There’s not really an argument against that statement.
Aurelio, Babbel, Gary Mac, Milner. We have had some pretty decent free transfers.
Babbel before his illness was one the best players i can remember, absolutely brilliant player and pivotal to us doing the treble under Houllier
What type of player was he and what were his qualities?
Out for 3 weeks according to the BBC website.
And just as night follows day, Matip is back and now injured again!!!
Strangely he only missed two games last season.
Not bad for him that. The exception rather than the norm with him tho.
Even Keita was available for most of last season as was Chamberlain.
Jesus. What parallel universe was this haha?
Matip is now becoming too unreliable, great player now ruined by injuries. A new centre back is also one of the priorities for next summer.
I know I'm new to this forum, but who are all these 'fans' who have suddenly come out of the wood to wrongly slag off our players.
Heh heh I feel your pain. I went through the same eye-opening discovery about LFC fandom. Not quite what it says on the tin, is it?
You’ll never walk aloneUnless you have a poorly legIn that caseFuck off
Bumped because he had a great game and deserves some love.
yes he does!Big Joel will always be a Liverpool legend What a great header that was, and to come just after having what looked a certain goal saved. An excellent performance all round.

Normally a player can look great on tubes, but one of the things that's encouraging for me is just the amount of youtube videos on him
Who would have thought liverblokes no draws idea would not be his worst idea of the weekend
