Jesus, his shirt is going to bankrupt the club

If we sign Jesus, I think we'd sell loads of shirts.
He's won the cup for Liverpool.........all by himself!

We've got a tricky speedy polish little winger Jakub Blaszczy-kowski,
And he scored for the first time today.

EDIT(2): Aah shucks! Didn't see the article of his club not willing to sell. Fuck it- another one bites the dust. He actually looks decent.

Note: do not give up so easily otherwise you will never get anything from life.  Just because his club have said no does not men they wil say no next time we ask or the time after that or that or that.

I red that the President of Dortmund said they wont even sell him for 18m € so I don't think we will buy him. He is also very often injured !!! So I don't think we will see him in a red shirt

Found this in the guardians guide to Euro 2008:

ONE FOR THE SCOUTS: Jakub Blaszczykowski, a wing-wizard who has taken the Bundesliga by storm at the age of 22. Borussia Dortmund would want more than £5m.

You never know, and Dortmund need the money.

I actually think that the media likes us. Every team goes through the same scenarios, but the media gives us priority when reporting cases. Think Barry vs. Ronaldo, for example; if I was an unbiased journalist would be far more interested in the Ronaldo saga, but that got overshadowed by the Barry saga. They are trying to exploit the Rafa-G&H conflict as much as they could, because they know it's there. There's no smoke without fire...

He has been a bit injury-prone this past season, he mainly blamed the club doctors in Dortmund for letting him come back from an injury too soon and therefore he re-aggravated it. He went to Poland to seek treatment from his own doctor and hopefully that is all cleared up. Kuba takes on defenders one on one and is great technically, if you can catch any highlights of him during the Poland-Portugal match in Chorzow in Euro qualifiying he just shredded the Portugese defense. They had no answer for him on the wing. Hopefully Dortmund sell and for a 22-year old this could be  a smart bit of business.

The Ronaldo deal over-shadowed everything this summer, by a long margin. We only got more fo the Barry stuff because it involved us.

Another Luis hater. Christ, without this little guy we wouldn't have made it to the final in Istanbul. People forget too easily he was our joint top scorer in that season too. Granted, he was 50% frustrating and lost form after that first season, but he really cared for the club and did his best out there.

Think your beng over sensitve there mate.

I agree with the post....you don't put videos up of people taking on a defender, tripping over the ball then butting the corner flag.

Lets splash the cash then we can make up our own mind and slag him off on here ;)

I probably am.  :) I just think a lot of people skip over the fact that he did a lot for us.

I agree about Youtube vids, said it myself earlier in this thread. Luis' not an example I'd use though. More like this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jexmB-WAeXM

I like the look of Kuba, though I trust Rafa won't be using Youtube  ;D

Not trying to bash the lad (decent squad player), just making a defence of youtube videos :lickin but I saw one of Pennant recently (cited somewhere on this forum as a proof of his quality) that highlighted everything bad in the first couple of clips - beats his man with purpose, keeps his head down, beats defender again for fun, turns, beats defender again, second defender arrives, nicks ball, Pennant tracks back and commits silly foul, giving away a free kick in a decent position for the opposition.

Back on topic, this bloke sounds like he could be a decent signing...

I still think Pennant can play, he just doesn't seem to have the right motivation.  Think he is prob a player that needs to kow he's gonna be in the team, knows he's part of it all.  Don't thik thats going to happen under Rafa.
