Guardiola should hand all his Barca titles over to Messi immediately. Been found out as a charlatan
the fact that Messi is still actually there somewhat undermines your argument.

What is mullers normal position? I know I'll get slaughtered for it but he strikes me as a glorified utility man

Thank you.

Since Guardiola left, Messi has been half the payer he once was.

  • All hail the Jürgen!
He didn't leave out of protest against our medical team though.

Dalglish tried to get him to stay but he wanted out just before the window shut, nobody forced him to the fans who supported and idolised him for years.
It was Liverpool that accepted the transfer amount before he was allowed to speak to them, or am I wrong?

  • I'm too moist and tender to retire.
Because it is crazy, you actually think that Messi was behind all of Barcelona's success?
Massive part of it, but that Barca team had great players in their prime.

Guardiola showed how reliant he was on Messi, when he shipped Zlatan back to Italy, when Messi told him to.

What's with the clapping you can hear close to where Andy & Clive are sitting?

Have they smuggled a seal into the commentary box with them?

It's doing my head in.

What exactly are good numbers in the box - Prime? Even?

Please elaborate.

It was Liverpool that accepted the transfer amount before he was allowed to speak to them, or am I wrong?

Torres handed in his transfer request which we asked him to do if he wanted to leave. In the words of Kenny, whom I trust over Torres 10000 times:

Asked if he tried to persuade Torres to continue spearheading a Liverpool revival, Dalglish said: 'Of course I spoke to him. I did what you thought I would do, what everybody hoped I would do.

'I did my job properly and correctly, and we were disappointed that he left. But he has gone. That was his decision, and the thing is, we didn't mope around. We got out and did the business.

Part of me wants to see Shitcoat get beat in the final against Madrid. His ego would take a serious kicking if that happened.

That could be achieved with another "ghost-goal" that denies him the opportunity to reach the CL-final in his home country... ;)

Just because he made a "mistake" does not make him a crappy coach though does it?

I just think this Bayern team have it easy domestically and at this level dont have the ability to break teams down playing this sort of football, there players aren't good enough. I'd shit myself if Ribery and Robben were playing on the counter, but they don't. It's so predictable. Would like to see the touches Ribery and Robben get and how often they do exactly the same things.

Might sound weird but who I want to win the CL when we're not in it is entirely designed around which managers are in the frame to equal Paisleys record of 3 European Cups. This years a tricky one and it's looking like the record is finally going to be matched.  Going into the semis 3 of the 4 managers have two European Cups each. So the question is... if Atletico don't win it then who can I cope with?

For me Carlo Ancelotti is the one. He's older and more experienced than Pep and has proven himself in various roles. Pep is a great manager but he's young and has gone between the best teams in the World. He can wait. He has a whole career ahead of him.

And don't get me started on Jose Mourinho. The media would turn it into a bigger nightmare than if England won the World Cup under Roy Hodgson!

So... am happy to see Real winning. now I just need Atletico to turn over Chelsea and I can rest a little easier.

Good to see Bayern being ripped to pieces here. They are so slow on the ball, and trying to score goals on Real with Müller up front is just plain ludicrous.
