This is shit. Love him, hate them.
Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.

You should literally be skinned for such a fucking daft answer :o

Being manager of liverpool is more than just being manager. It's like being a spiritual leader. That's why Rafa is loved by so many of us. He understood the club and he could have created a legacy here with the right backing. Not that i don't back Brendan and the club, but him going to chelsea... They just don't deserve him. I for one will give him a warm reception at Anfield. If nothing else, Istanbul is worth that. His overhaul of the Academy has earned him that times two.

The man is a legend. Chelsea can fuck off.

Grauniadiola?
Gregorio Grauniadiola?
Wonder what sort of reaction he'll get from the fans at the weekend. It's clear the majority don't want him. I know Chelsea fans are thick, but they wouldn't actually boo their own manager in his first game in charge would they?
I bet you they would.

They are that much of a gang of c*nts.

Rafa has a great deal of confidence in his own ability. With that squad. You never fucking know. We could see something as good as that Valencia side. There will be fireworks with the players though. I actually wish him luck.

Dont genuinely think we are competing with them at the moment. He's got a crack at what he always wanted a team with money. If he were to become permanant, then he would build an incredible side i reckon.

He'll enevitably fall out with the Russian anyway so i cant see it being much fun. Still interesting to watch. i would assume he's been scouting his arse off last couple of years. And i assume he's been given money at christmas.

Anyways fuck Chelsea they mean nothing to me. Joke club.

I'd take Luiz away from CB straight away, he's a liability. And go with Ivanovic-Cahill with Cole and the Spanish lad at right back. Ramires-Mikel
or Ramires-Lampard-Oscar (when he returns) and Mata, Hazard and Torres.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Can only see this going tits up for Rafa...

I reckon we'll see Torres get even worse, back to his form when he first joined Chelsea. Can't see him doing anything other than trying too hard.

How are the Chelsea "boys" going to take this? I can't imagine JT and co being over the moon...

I think sacking Di Matteo is a new low in club ownership, I thought sacking most of the previous managers stunk of desperation but that was desperation to win the CL (Grant was Terry's stud away from the trophy so he went) Sacking Di Matteo after he picked them up off the floor won it and then added the FA Cup is just incredible. I can only assume that he wishes his plaything to be as good as Barcelona and he won't be happy until Chelsea dominate world football, dream on you rusky dick.

There's no way Rafa will stand a chance in the locker room against the likes of Terry or Lampard. He'll be eaten alive. I wish it would be otherwise but I can't see this having a good ending.

Hypothetical scenario.....

Last game of the season, 20th April 2013.

Rafa brings his Chelsea side to anfield needing a win to clinch the league title.

A win for us will guarantee 4th spot.

Rafa names his side.

John Terry makes his debut in goals, so does that physio bird as the false number 9. ::)

You're right, no-one will notice if we don't play Newcastle, Fulham, Everton or QPR

he gave one a while ago  "''Chelsea is a big club with fantastic players, every manager wants to coach a such a big team. I would never take that job, in respect for my former team at Liverpool, no matter what. For me there is only club in England, and that's Liverpool''

Rafa has obviously heard of Football Manager, you know the part where you want player of a team so you set up a New Manager to take the club over,  i can see Cole to go back to chelsea for £50M with Mata & Hazard going the other way as Part Exchange, Seem Legit to me.

Can't understand why Rafa would take the job on such a short term basis. The fans hate him, the players are a bunch of c*nts who have seen off previous managers they didn't like, if they don't like Rafa's methods they can fuck him off knowing he is gone at the end of the season.

Could go horribly wrong for him
