Very exciting times ahead for England's national team one would imagine

Not unless the lads are prepared to move abroad to get their game time. The Premier League is closed off to all but the very elite youth  -ala Sterling, Stones etc and they will stagnate in limbo.

It's all very nice them doing well now, but in 2 years they won't have moved further in developing.

Great achievement given that they were missing a few key players, were a young squad and were considered one of the weaker age groups a few years ago.

England, despite being the 2022 U19 Winners, didn't qualify for this 2023 Euro U19 tournament. No Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, or the Republic in this either.
