Apologies if there's already a topic covering this. The U17 Euros has started today and I thought it was worth a mention.

Poland are currently 5-1 up against Ireland.

The Scots are currently losing 3-1 to France.

Are there any young gems that we should be keeping an eye on?

The 2023 UEFA Under-17 Championships run from Wednesday 17th May to Friday 2nd June - and take place in Hungary.

There are 16 teams in total; divided into 4 Groups of 4 Teams - with each side playing 3 Group Stage matches. The top 2 teams from each Group go through to the Knockout Stages.

Switzerland have just gone 2 goals up against the Netherlands early in the second half. Two good finishes by their strikers. It was all Netherlands first half.

Heard they've got a really promising goalkeeper called Foster and a flamboyant attacker. Can't remember the kid's surname but his first name is Jesse.

Aye, good to se the refs wiling to clamp down it in the youth tournaments - and also any backchat too. Not sure why refs let it go so much in the adult-aged matches...

Decent pace to the game so far - both sides look evenly matched so far too.

Germany had a 2 on 1 in stoppage time, a good tackle stopped it. Kid needed to pass or shoot, did neither.
