IT IS, the Union were the first to have dialouge with Purslow, revealing everything to members and media about the type of person he is, holding him to account since the day he walked into the club and making people realise what we have on our hands.

Although its great that more and more fans are starting to get involved, i personally am starting to not like the "Its us doing this not the union, this is fuck all to do with them" it just splits everyone up into different camps that are very unnecessary.

We got grief for not backing simon greens RBS campaign, nobody actually realised we had done the exact same thing a year earlier, with the exact same result, a reply from the head of RBS.

We have already pressured the premier league aswell resulting in a meeting with their head who basically told us they were powerless.

As far as i can see the questions that SOS put out yesterday, after input from yourself and other members are a continuation of us holding Purslow to account since the first time we met, over a year ago.

We need to all be together and unite behind this, i know how it will look if they are getting hit from all angles but to keep saying "this is nothing to do with the union" is wrong, it is and always has been.

I think that they have to put that cause if anything goes wrong it's there fault not the unions.

And the trouble is - Duncan - that if only a hanful of people contacted you and the rest of your media pals then you would not consider it 'newsworthy' as it would be deemed to not represent the majority of supporters opinions.

He never said he wasn't interested. He said that the method of contact, an annoying blitz of identical emails, was not the best method of either getting his attention or making him best disposed to help once you had.

It was a reasonable and constructive reply, far easier for him to simply highlight the lot and delete.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I made it crystal clear on the email that I didn't send it as part of any SoS campaign.

He never said he was interested either.

And I personally, along with a number of others I would imagine, put some time and effort into detailing exactly why we were contacting him in the form of a cover letter. Yes the questions that we were proposing were the same (an attachment) and the ultimate point was the same, but at the same time the individual concerns of supporters were being presented to him in an honest fashion. Mine were at least.

Yes I can understand it being a frustration, but I would hope that it would highlight the scale of the disgruntlement and in turn the potential story to report rather than alienate and annoy said journalist.

While standing by and doing nothing is not the option - the initiative here is a good one. But I also think carpet bombing can sometimes be a bit extreme. Great for RBS , The prem and the FA I have 6 lettes back now but surely these media types could be useful allies.

We want to bring to the attention of the media our plight but we also don't want to potentially ruin any contacts we could develop  that could work for our benefit. Everyone says the media in london all hates us but some fans like StevieH on facebook seems to have created a small repore with some of them via the RBS campaign so maybe we should also look at deplomacy and ways to encourage their help.

They are there to write "news" and while jordans latest tit job or loser husband is front page - LFC's plight isnt and will never be. Unless facebook User finds and kills LFCs owner happens etc !!

Accepted though we should not treat the media or Broughton and Purslow with kid gloves as they need to answer our questions and they owe us a duty of responsibility. We are the customer and the customer is always right !

But it just seems to me that Cecil is there to further is own nest now. - he's given up on finding investment so he has now decided to change jobs.... and been appointed to a new position probably without even a vote from the board.

Out of the questions the most important question for me is Why is an investment banker in charge of the footballing side of LFC? Why is he still even at the club as he has failed in his remit to find investment and more importantly who is he working for?

Christian Purslow and in-fact Martin Broughton know they're in an untouchable position when those active and vocal are seriously out-weighed by an un-informed or fans who dont have a clue whats going on at LFC.

I have sent my questions and copied them to all above - But also apologised because we need to get these fuckers doing some work for us so it's good to make some allies- after all the more striking the news the more papers it will sell anyways....

I think you're missing the point, that we're having to do their jobs for them.  If a manc farts in Glazers direction it's headline news on Northwest tonight, we're lucky if we get a mention in the sports section for anything we do with the exception of roumers about our player leaving.

Their business is news, we're putting it on a plate for them.  They should be thanking us.  How many people would be doing this email maybe 200 or so, I delete more emails than that a day from my companies system, I don't bitch and moan about it.  It's pathetic.
