Trouble is, you want to be sympathetic, but an orchestrated campaign which involves thousands of emails blocking up the system only serves to disgruntle and alienate people in the media who love nothing more than to spend three hours hitting the delete button.
And the trouble is - Duncan - that if only a hanful of people contacted you and the rest of your media pals then you would not consider it 'newsworthy' as it would be deemed to not represent the majority of supporters opinions.
In one respect you can understand the point that he is trying to make but on the other hand, what does he expect us to do? Noone seems willing to listen and noone seems willing to provide a voice for the thousands of supporters out there that cant take any more of the shite that they're being fed.
Im sorry, but what a prick.
And he justifies that by stating that they have "not been positive about the regimes at Liverpool, United or Portsmouth".
What do you want Duncan? A pat on the back? A gold star?
If your a football supporter like the rest of us you would be picking those regimes apart for what they are and letting the public as a whole know what is happening to them and to the game in general rather than sending snotty email replies to those trying to do what you should be doing - putting the views of the supports across and saving football from the suits that are killing it.
Maybe that doesnt fit their agenda then eh.
Prick.
