You can read things into anything he says. Ultimately, he's said nothing of importance, certainly in comparison to his last interview. What did people expect? For him to come out and say he's selling and that Hicks is a Texan tosser?

No to be honest I don't know what i expected

Nah he was never going to say anything major after the shit storm last time. A good thing, too.

There is nothing major to say because under them we are in limbo. They have not got the resources to take us forward, but they won't admit it.

No news on the stadium,Rafa trying to scrape transfer funds together.
I've been here during the bad times,we finished second once.

Even if there were 5 or 6 trophies we were in next season we won't compete for any with these two c*nts in charge.

It will be interesting to hear what the media will make of this interview tomorrow.

If this turd has made up with his best mate Hicks, where does that leave Parry?

This B@stard has been so friendly with Moores and Parry, inviting the Dubaians whilst publicly shunning Hicks? We are stupid, that's what we are, believing they hated each other. They have both been taking us all for a bloody joy ride. I am so angry after hearing his voice. Did you notice how he stuttered through every response he delivered?

Just listening again...

Gillett: "All of us (Hicks and Gillett Family) are focussed on the transfer window coming up, we want to be ready for it and we want to have the adequat resources and good communication with Rafa...We got to help Rafa to try and be more competitive in the chase for the Premiership."

He didn't say anything when asked about the possibility of us being for sale so thats promising, and you'd think if Gillett and Hicks were getting on "that" well, Parry would have already been out.

In all fairness, he was a million miles from suggesting anything approaching amicability.  Both sides clearly realised that they were at a hugely damaging impasse as long as they were not talking.  Gillett is still clearly looking to sell otherwise he would not have answered "no comment" when directly asked.  To be honest, given that it appears that they need to agree in order to move forward (in any direction) then the tiny bit of information we gained in this interview (that they are talking) was good news.

He obviously is still selling the possible down side is that the improved communication may be discussing a price.

From pre season on there MUST be a sustained campaign against the c*nts. If they deign to visit their "asset" they hould be made unwelcome. Yes we support the team but there is one fight to be had...with that pair.

How sad a great night seeing Ronaldo fail ends with that pair...again

Didn't hear it but from what I can derive from the comments on here and what I know of these things I now believe that LFC will be sold very soon, I get the impression that all parties have toned down the whole press and PR thing and also the point scoring for the reason of getting down to business and agree a deal.

Lets be honest, they have been playing everyone...I am sure the fall out was a ruse, to force DIC to come in and maybe force up the price! DIC did not fall for it, now they will make up. If DIC really wanted to buy LFC, they would. They have the money and as they have shown, if they want something they normally just go out and get it. G&H will sell when they want to.....no matter what everyone else does, they live in cuckoo land, no one will influence them in anyway. At the end of the day Moores and Parry are to blame for this mess....

I know, public squabbling in the boardroom along with one party making it clear that they are desperate to sell. it's a surefire formula to raise the price of any business.

I just hope that Gareth Barry doesn't come out and say he can no longer work with that bouncing twat Martin O'Neill, his price will rocket.

I think you can gather from that , that he still wants to sell up to DIC. They were asked to improve relations between him and hicks by the arabs.  The no comment on the " for sale " comment is the key here.

That's what i thought at first. But someone made the point that if they come out and say they aren't selling the backlash would probably be a hassle they could do without.

Whatever happened to cowtownred?
