The British were the post Romano inhabitants of what is now called England.

The Irish also enjoyed a good few centuries of invading Wales and the West Country but they tend to keep quiet about that these days.

So it could be said that the Scots are really the Irish, The English are really Germanic Danish, the Welsh are really British and the Irish are just aggressive troublemakers .

Been 20 years since I got married and moved away, 15 of them have been in Scotland, 13 of those on Benbecula I get back to the pool at least once a year. Was there in July for a wedding.

ive had a bit of stick in north wales, but no more or less than you get anywhere else
loads of scousers live down there and theres an invasion every summer.

strange but I loved buses as a kid as well.Remember when I was about 15 going on a double decker bus from Wrexham to Burnley for a FA cup game.Loved every minute of it.

When I was serving my time as a vehicle engineer (not mechanic) I spent 3 months at MPTE in Edge Lane working on them. What a treat.

Apparently there was a lot of bus porn down Woodside ferry, there was an article in some Sunday rag about the girls who went for the bus drivers/conductors back in the seventies cant remember which paper but seem to remember the bus drivers pics with fly away collars folded over their coat lapels and a medallion hanging round their neck, wouldn't doubt the stories though,
