He is going to end up with so much less out of boxing than his talent deserves. Only got himself to blame.

Wilder has reportedly broke the jaw of a man who was dressed as a mascot on live tv. He said he didnt know there was a person in the costume....what a piece of shit. I hope the mascot sues the arse of him.

No idea what they're saying, but it looks like the presenter is encouraging Wilder to punch the mascot?

You're right, it does seem that way. I'm still not buying that Wilder did not know there was a person in the costume! He was probably meant to softly hit it and have a bit of fun with the mascot but he unloaded instead.

The new president of the who needs him club

Needs to get on the IBF ranking game as they enforce mandatories. Nobody else will give him a sniff

On that same point Saunders is not active enough to be IBF Champion and hold onto it.

Some piercing shots to the body from Buatsi, looking forward to him fighting Anthony Yarde at some stage.

Is Wilder a bit simple? He can clearly see a mascot dancing in front of him, does he think there's an orangutan inside that costume? Also the blame has to go to that presenter for encouraging him to punch the mascot.

He’s only had 8 fights to be fair to him. Yarde fought that bloke in his 14th fight.

Heard rumours it was going to be Whyte vs Ortiz next but a fight with Chisora is now more likely. Let's hope it is as good as the first one!

As excuses go, it is pathetic. As you say, the guy was dancing in front of him!!! Wilder does come across as a bit of an idiot to be honest.

He's making $365million over five years. That is insane money, especially for someone like Canelo. Even Mayweather didn't make that much. He was on a 3yr deal with Showtime worth $180 million.

Is pretty funny seeing all the weirdo's on social media congratulating Hearn on signing him.  ;D Even the man himself has said Canelo isn't being paid from his pot of money and he's not even mentioned in DAZN's statement. If Eddie had much to do with this he'd be getting his face absolutely everywhere, it's Goldenboy, Canelo and DAZN, John Skipper etc

To be fair, having Canelo on the same network as his stable is going to make fast Eddie a lot of money over those 5 years. Already throwing Fielding in there, he'll be lining up Andrade, Jacobs and even Callum at some point too.

Worse is the response on social media claiming firstly this was all done behind Hearn's back as DAZN were not happy with matchroom and were squeezing him out. Hearn was losing a third of his budget to fund this etc etc. Once then it came out that Hearn was very much involved in discussions and was happy with the deal haters need to find something else to be negative about.

The desire for some to see him fail is a joke. He clearly does something right as whether you love or hate him people talk about Hearn more than any other promoter.

As for DAZN this move benefits everybody. Matchroom should get the rub, bellator should get the rub and more important it becomes a much easier sell to convince fighters that the platform is legit and is sticking around for the long term.

Garton wins KO 11th. What a fight, thought Garton was going to be stopped on cuts. Fair play to the Ref, let the fight go on, some brilliant cuts men in the corners.

9 figure fee for a glorified exhibition against someone who isn't a professional boxer, and keeps him ticking over for Pacquaio once he gets through Floyd's homeless twin. I can see why he'd take it.

I'm personally all for it because the bookies were basically giving away free money when he fought McGregor and this will be no different.

It will cause you had all the patriotic betting with McGregor.  It wont be the same for Khabib.  Odds are always massively skewed when it comes to "home" nations sports people.
