We paid for the post aspect, club will have covered the 'fees' for the business doing it on their behalf

Paper tickets has less trackability, club can see the IMEI numbers the tickets go onto etc

Last seasons final was full NFC, the only reason this isnt is because chelsea still dont use digital tickets... They're rolling out an App soon which contains QR code tickets, wont even be using google/apple wallet NFC

Would guarantee there'd be people on here moaning if they were paper tickets that its difficult to post them on or get lost in the post etc

I agree. I prefer the ticket being in your mobile wallet as you don’t need to worry about an extra thing.

I doubt this. Besides the “so what” element - anyone can download a ticket from their email onto any device - it’s highly intrusive and not data they could legitimately collect.

Wembley have their own mobile ticket app. I'm surprised Chelsea and us aren't using it.

Since we are using the phone wallet, I'm also surprised Chelsea aren't using the same mobile ticketing as us. If it's true that they don't use NFC at Stamford Bridge I don't think that's an acceptable reason for Chelsea not to use it since the ticket is going into the phone's wallet.

Will all be in the ticketing terms or the ones you agree to when setting up your wallet (you know those ones you don't read) but anyway, I doubt anything will be done with the data other than comparing where final tickets ended up compared to other membership passes on that device etc

What is Wembley like on small backpacks? Going to take a charger and some crisps/chocolate etc in for the journey home- will I get told to put it in storage or something? Can't be assed with that.

You won’t be able to take it in. If it’s small enough to hide under your coat then give that a go or just put your stuff in coat pockets.

I remember 10 years ago in the FA cup semi the pints were a fiver which was and is disgusting but was same price as pubs in London then. When I went back in 22 it was about£9 was it!? Do they take bottles off you at Wembley or just the lids like other stadiums? Might do the arl voddy (still exists, post gin boom) trick I learned from the elders of the family when I was knee high at Mathew Street festival. They used coke I tend to use the pathetic modern excuse for Lucozade

We got off at Baker Street last League Cup final in the hunt for a pint. The Globe opposite the underground station is a Chelsea pub - must have been around a thousand of them around it, so avoid like the plague. We walked up away from there to The Volunteer which ended up being decent and all Liverpool. Don't know if it would be the same again or not, but the Globe seems to be a Chelsea tradition.

Globe is where the England fans go. Volunteer is a decent pub even outside of football.

Anyone knows what’s the best way to get to Stansted Airport after the game? Was thinking to get to London Victoria/Liverpool Street and then just grab a National Express to get there…not sure tho

I would do tube from wembley park to Kings X, tube to tottenham hale and stansted express train.
Or wembley central > overground to euston > tube to tottenham hale > stansted express.

Porbably more expensive but be quicker than a coach

You can get the tube from Wembley Park direct to Liverpool Street and get the Stansted Express from there.

That says it’s for the east fan zone and it looks like it’s got corners, so it enclosing a location by the stadium. Not to stop people getting by the stadium. I might be wrong.
