So stop whining now, your club were in the thick of it

Yet no effort to condemn the City fans who glorify in the blood money they receive from Abu Dhabi.

Happens everywhere in modern football, Klopp applauding an anfield with 3 stands completely empty in his final home european game is one of the saddest things ive seen this season.

Easy to say with hindsight. "People" had no idea what it meant when players like Shinawatra and Abramovich got involved with the PL.

Gives you no right to speak on behalf of any of us.

Yeah, I bet. My mates, season ticket holders, are gutted.
I guess you didn't have any idea. But many said it then and also say it now.

I am very likely on record here saying that I didn't enjoy Man City's first title win (PS: I somehow do have a soft spot for Mancini because of the player he was).

If I am consistent regarding Chelsea, Man City and even Newcastle when they were about to pip Man Utd for fourth* last season, I do have the right to speak. Missing out on a trophy has no bearing when it's about the game.

Edit: Third or whatever it was during the season.

I know I saw a City fan glorifying in all the charges against them, they wear it like an armour. Yet for some reason we and Arsenal fans argue amongst ourselves rather than take the battle to City and those fans who love their sports washing masters. It makes little sense to me any of this. But then as Klopp himself said in that interview nobody can take away what we achieved with him. He's entirely right, why do so many people refuse to accept this.

Can't see how they improve on this season & they ended up with nothing.

I think they'd improve with a better no. 9.

I doubt they'll be as lucky with injuries again, and teams will have had a look at them and will be formulating counter-measures.
Plus also the mentality of the players will be tested, if they fall behind City early on.

Totally right.

Klopps 1 title is worth more than citys 7/8 whatever it is. If we win it once we ll celebrate it more than their entire trophy cabinet.
The problem is the rest of the country actually supports them because their own teams have no chance of winning, look at spurs yesterday, throwing their own manager and players under the bus, never seen a manager so angry post match. City are benefiting so much from club rivalry among proper clubs.

Went to bed at 1-0, knew it was over when they scored. No need to prolong the agony, so i missed the drama, that always ends up falling citys way.

In fairness its not over yet. When Moysie in his jeans knocked on Fergies door, and became anointed the chosen one, it was to knock city off their perch.
Sunday is when the chosen one gets finally crowned.

So not, "3 stands completely empty" as you originally, snidely stated. Presumably you were watching the same shots from which those screen shots were taken? What's your explanation in the discrepancy with what you "saw" and the evidence?

You were being a snide, but we know it's coming from fans deserting your own stadium when drawing with bottom placed Southampton with the league on the line.

I felt sad too after Atlanta at home.

Henderson and Fabinho go to Saudi League. Fabinho goes for 40m - the same amount he signed for. There's no way a team offers 140m for Coutinho if sportswashing money wasn't trickling down.

Good, it is what we should all be doing, confronting this. Abu Dhabi has already managed to get media companies like Sky and the BBC to remain silent, that's bad enough. It is being talked about on social media much more as well. Look at the work that. Newcastle group is still doing. We feel we don't have power but we do, we just need to use it.

You imagined it, so now you can wipe those tears away.

However there was nothing imaginary about 40-odd thousand Arsenal fans leaving the stadium with 10 minutes to go and their team desperately seeking a vital point, or three in the Title race. I didn't find that "sad". It was bloody tragic.

Liverpool didnt benefit from sportswashing. Had they won 4 titles in a row which they deserved to, prize money and alone and extra commercial and sponsorship revenue wouldve dwarfed anything they got from saudi arabia. It’s ridiculous to suggest otherwise. If we robbed liverpool have been robbed ten times worse. 97 and 93 point seasons and not winning the league. Theres still levels to go before we reach that type of pain, i hope it never happens like that with us, Id just move on from football.

With our record in Europe, being three goals down in the first leg was no guarantee that would be Klopp's final game as LFC manager in Europe. So long as our fans didn't leave during the match, I have no issue when they chose to leave after the final whistle.

It still wasn't three empty stands as you "remember" it.

There's two of them and I always bring it up, same with a couple of lads I know in the local bar.

Did hear on the train coming back from London on Sunday, surrounded by Utd fans on the way to O/T, a few talking about the 115 charges, they were pissed off about them. I supposed, with them not being the "noisy neighbours" anymore and now about to make it 10 titles, its coming home to roost.

Not sure which game that was. I dont like it those that leave early, always have a little smile when we score important late goals after people have left their seat.

Although in general i feel if the team is 2 or more goals down, then any time after 90 mins is understandable. Fans leaving at 80 mins with 15 min injury time these days got their calculations badly wrong, theres half a game left.

I don't think fans, clubs and the league would care much even if Abu Dhabi wins the next 4 titles.

That is fair, obviously the game wasnt billed as klopps last, just turned out that way.

Genuinely looking forward to his send off on Sunday. Hes appeared a bit sad lately. I hope the fans pull out all the stops .

Itll probably be more interesting than the title race.

My missus didn't leave the Nou Camp in 1999.....

The only time Anfield has emptied under Klopp was Palace years ago and he went mad - this was because when he was at Dortmund, in the Champions League at home to Malaga, they went 1-2 on 82 mins and won it 3-2 with goals in the 91st and 93rd minutes. We know that under Klopp, we can and do score after the 90.
