Then have Gini on the bench IMO if you include Keita. I think Thiago would be great for this match to impose ourselves on Real and get the ball to Keita and the attackers but let’s see how it plays out.

Nice to have some options again though. Firmino and Thiago are two pretty handy subs to call on whatever way the game is going.

Playing the spanish Man United tonight. Hate them. Cheating c*nts. First memory of playing these was sitting in me bedroon listening to it on the radio. Think it was '76. Toshack scored and we won 1-0 at their place. I agree with what someone else said in here. Dont think their first 5 euro cup wins really count. No english clubs for a start! Come on Naby lad. Show us why Klopps picked yer. Feeling confident...

Think you're on about Barcelona in 76 mate!

Biggest test yet for our CB pairing, give Benzema a yard in the box and he's not missing, add Vincius and this is as strong as it gets  big night!

Them two gotta get the ball first, not sure either will see much of it as their midfield/defence struggle to beat our press.

Suspect some of it will be physical... Thiago's played a lot of football since he came back from injury for a player that doesn't play a lot of football.
I'd rather have him in than Wijnaldam but set up he's picked gives you the best 2 screeners in front of the back 4 with Keita who can help defensively but then link/join the front 3

Surprised because thiago is usually boss against the better teams but I'm fucking well happy with naby. Great team.
Its a 16 man game for both legs, I would be surprised of Klopp didn't use all 5 subs, a sort of giving them both barrels approach. That also suits the league games, which we can't afford to jettison as things stand.

Same here. Obviously, we’re going for the win but also looks like we’re going there to attack them from the off.

Agreed, its a bit of squad rotation. Thiago has played a lot of games lately and often full 90 minutes. He will most likely come on around the hour mark and then a bit fresher for the weekend game.
Also Keita is a great replacement and finally we get to show our squad depth.

Yep

Left Henderson on the bench in the Barca away game, played Naby ahead of him (until his injury).

Left Gini on the bench in the home game. Gini said he was angry and came on angry to prove him wrong. I'm hoping Thiago is angry and ready to get for the jugular of a hopefully exhausted side the moment he comes on.

Hope he’s not too angry if he makes a sub appearance - the most disappointing aspect of his game since he’s arrived is his rashness in the tackle. Love the rest of his game mind.

Love the look of that team. The starting 11 and subs give Klopp the opportunity to shake it up and go more defensive or attacking depending on how things are going.

0-2 win for us tonight and I recon that result will flatter Madrid.

Not sure how many they can fit in to their training ground.

Just found that the Bernabeu is having a refurb and I thought they'd renamed it to the DiStefano.
