Fourth favourites with the bookie, which given our domestic form is pretty good. Chelsea the big winners with the layers...into 3rd favourites but just a smidge ahead of us. A route to Istanbul is definitely there and we would only have to play one of the original top three in the betting. So, not much to complain about. Real, Chelsea, and Porto will be thinking the same of course.

Looking forward to see hungry Mo up against Ramos

Although I'm very happy with the draw, I've got a weird feeling about Chelsea this year. They're finding form at the right time and, like us, don't have the title to worry about. Can't look past City either. They're the real favourites for me.

Can't complain with the draw. Real have been worse than us this season but they will shithouse their way through the 2 legs so we will have to be at our best.

We won't be playing Sunday-Tuesday. The Arsenal game will be moved to Saturday if we're playing on the Tuesday.

Other than drawing Porto in the QF I think that draw is the best that we could have hoped for. I wanted no part of Bayern or City over two legs, but would fancy our chances over 90 mins if we get that far. Madrid looked pretty average in the last round and we recently played Chelsea at our lowest point of the season and still gave them a good game, and if we were to play them in the semi final then we'd hopefully have our full strength midfield available, as well as Mane and Firmino having time to play themselves back into form.

Man City vs Dortmund can easily go both ways. And even if they get through, they will have to play Bayern Munich or PSG in the semi-final. It was one of the worst possible draws for Man City ...

So glad it’s not an English team. Instantly makes the tie more exciting.

The way our seasons gone we’d be underdogs against nearly every remaining club. If we can reach our previous high standards for two nights there’s no reason we can’t make the semis though.

Elsewhere - one of the three favourites is going out in that Bayern v PSG tie. City’s draw isn’t as easy as they normally get, then the prospect of facing one of those is daunting for them. The real winners here are Chelsea, who we can already say are heading for the semis. Porto simply aren’t very good. They only knocked out Juventus because they too, are not very good.

City will make very light work of Dortmund. Bayern or PSG could give them a run for their money though...

About as good as we could have hoped for short of drawing Porto in this round. Still a long shot with our troubles this season but we have a puncher's chance.
