See, for me, I've always felt like someone who primarily plays on the left is what we'd be looking at, because I feel like Shaqiri is going to come back into the fold. So Minamino to back up Firmino, Shaqiri to back up Salah and then a new signing (Jota) to back up Mane. With Origi able to play across the entire front line for extra depth.

I don't know about Wolves but I strongly suspect Origi will move on in before the end of the window but think we will have a better balanced alternative front 3, assuming Shaq stays and is happy to play a back up role to Mo (no noise about him being unsettled and looking for a move that I've heard) so hopefully all good

Looking at Jota's numbers more he really does profile like a forward / 2nd striker rather than a conventional winger ... should be PERFECT cover for us anywhere across the front line.
Profiles exactly like Mane did (though maybe not quite as good) - if he has a weakness its his passing but impact in the final third looks fantastic ... and plenty of time to develop

His best form has been when up top with Jiminez.

Watched Wolves quite a bit more than I watched Watford last season for obvious reasons, so probably a little biased. But I really like the look of Jota and he seems to have a lot to his game, just have to get his finishing up to scratch.

at the end of the day, who could we bring in for a reasonable fee as a back up?  I like this, it will be an excellent bit of business once it's confirmed.  The more pressure we put on the front three to stay at the top of their game the better too
