Don't really watch Wolves that often. Taken these posts from Wolves fans on Reddit:

The rest may go though. Origi is surely of use to someone and must be around 30 million?

Problem with Origi is clubs don't know what they're buying because he's very enigmatic and not a reliable source of goals through most of his career. Off the back of his heroics at the end of 18/19 I think we'd have got around 30 million no problem had we sold then, but after a flat season last year for the most part and Covid added to the mix there's no chance he's 30 million, there just isn't the interest. Brewster has a higher market value which is why that sale is more likely; there's more clubs interested and there's the English factor.

Selling two home grown players, losing Lallana and Clyne and buying three foreign players would put us around the maximum with the quotas. Gini likely to move on next year at least, but in future windows we're going to need to look more at English/homegrown players. The good thing is the squad will be pretty much in place, so it's not from a position of panic. We won't be in a position where we need to do a lot next year; just more of a 1 in 1 out policy.

I ran 11.78 in the 100m and 22.16 200m when I was on the County athletics team in my youth, so believe me, Jota is fast if he's hitting that time.

Superb business. We will probably sell Brewster & sell/loan Grujic & Wilson.

I think its still broadly true we are being careful. Look at the deal with Thiago, according to the Atlantic article its no big upfront deal, its about £5m each year of his contract so fantastic deal structure and also suggests we are not prepared to put lots of money up front in the current climate.
Jota deal will be interesting to watch. Love to be a fly on the wall in the negotiations with Mr Edwards!

Jota, Thiago and Tsimikas in and, first team squad wise, only Lovren out is insane business.

Difficult to argue our first team squad isn't much stronger now.

It's excellent business. Hopefully Wijnaldum stays for the season as we will need to balance the books and fringe players will move on. No issue with that, the worry was we wouldn't buy the players we needed until we had the money first and it'd go to the wire in October. Fair play if we've got the players in we need now.

Possibly one defender short, but the squad is finally place for us to have a go on all fronts now.

We can trust Edwards will make the bulk of the money back in sales and Lovren/Lallana/Clyne and other players who move on off the wage bill we can still more or less break even for the window, but with a stronger squad at the end of it. Hopefully Wijnaldum stays at least for the season, but if someone came in with big money then you could understand us taking it.

If we sold the players that we're trying to sell then if Jota arrives I for one am all for having Dembele in for a year. Imagine having that technique and ability of Jota and pace of Dembele as back ups for the front 3. Wow.

anyone looking at the big picture here. seems like there is a bit of a shift in the way we target players.

instead of looking for a player that has similar attributes to the first team eg sarr for mane/salah in terms of pace we end up with jota who technically might be a better fit since two footed and a more technical player.

maybe the management sees that teams are starting to sit deep and and looking at alternatives to break them down. Thiago is the first piece. Jota might be part of the puzzle that sees a shift in how we attack and break teams down.

Looks good, the key for me too is that he seems more of a system player, more likely to create opportunities through passing and movement like the rest of our attack. Him offering more defensively is huge too.
