If Alisson gets on with Adrian and benefits from training with him then I'm sure it's worth it.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

to be honest Kelleher has proven himself to be a very good backup goalie. So basically Adrian will be the Alex Manninger type in our squad hopefully never playing.

Adrian had offers to return to Spain on a free but he’s opted to pen a new deal at #LFC. Understand commitment is for two more seasons. Klopp will be delighted as he’s a popular figure. Kelleher now No 2 to Alisson and will be given a new contract too.

How serious are Alisson's injuries. I know he was out for a bit, but didn't he recover much faster than expected. Was he out more and I've forgotten?

No issues with Adrian staying if it's as an experienced number three behind Alisson and Kelleher.

We had a very realistic chance of winning a double or even a treble and he lobbed us out of the European cup and the FA cup.

He also became the first Liverpool goalie to concede 7 in a game in God knows how long.

I don't agree that he started well because he gifted Ings a goal in just his second game. Can also remember a tame Madisson shot going through him but our results paperd over the cracks.

Probably need to shave a bit off the wage bill first

Shear class from Schick there. Are we still in for a number 10 or has that sheep sailed?

kelleher is no 2? any truth in that?

thought it might be better for him to be loaned out and develop somewhere else. i dont mind adrian as a no 2 as long as our CB options remains fit

And he fell behind Kelleher in the pecking order as a result.

He seems to be a popular person within the squad, if he's sticking around to support Alisson and Kelleher and is happy with that role as a number three then I don't have a problem with him staying. If he was still our number two then I might think differently, but he's not.

I don't even want him as a third choice. It's like we are rewarding poor performances.

There are many top blokes out there but that doesn't mean they should be our third choice GK.

I don't mind Adrian being third choice as he seems a nice guy to have around the dressing room. Personally I would have gone for Heaton as he's also on a free and English and we're running low on non-english spots. Also Vaclik just had an amazing game for the Czechs and he's on a free too.

Who ya bringing in as third choice then big man? Be realistic about it as well, it'll need to be someone who realistically won't even get into the matchday squad if Alisson stays fit.

Just look at the expired contracts. Donarumma as second choice and then Vaklic as third choice.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

But Klopp does, so if he's happy with keeping Adrian as an experienced number three that's good enough for me.

Think we probably have more pressing concerns to be focusing on this summer than whoever our third choice goalkeeper is in any event.

Perfectly happy with keeping Adrian as third choice. Isn’t a 52 year old Scott Carson City’s number 3 keeper? It shouldn’t matter, assuming Alisson’s injury troubles are behind him.

Hoping that injury prone players magically become not injury prone is an impressively optimistic character trait on RAWK.

He's hardly injury prone, and Kelleher didn't put a foot wrong when called upon last season.

By the way Patrik Schick will become that striker loads will now be fawning over - not here so much, but loads of fanbases.

He’s a good player, didn’t work out at Roma, doing ok in Bundesliga, but not standout, streaky goal scorer, but a very elegant striker you could say!

Saying he's human simply means that he is. Adrián apologists would go any length to justify him staying.

A team that wants to win big trophies can't be rewarding mediocrity. Funny enough, the same people were giving Man Utd stick for renewing Phil Jones' contract.

That can be said about just about any team. What if we sign Jan Oblak to be our second choice and Allison, Oblak and Kelleher got injured at the same time. I would be worried. You have to manage risk. You cant have 3-4 backup players for every position.

It takes both luck and skill to win trophies.

Yeah, its clear from this Adrian Fiasco that Klopp has given up on wanting to win trophies. He is just going to be packing it in and cruising on his reputation from here onwards.
