and yet he is still not on as much as Ronaldo.
A "blockbuster deal" of the same amount they've been paying their goalkeeper for the last 4 years.

They must still think/hope their revenue dwarfs ours when in reality we're about to overtake theirs.

You could sort of understand a pundit coming out with that kind of attempt at trolling, but not when they support a club that have been paying multiple players at that level or above including their goalie for the last 5 years.

What's next, Micah Richards being critical of us signing another fullback in Ramsey in this window?  :o

This is standard tactics and how conversations with most Man Utd fans go. They just scrabble around trying to throw shit in the hope something sticks. Anything to deflect the sorry state their won club is in. Continuously obsessing about what's going on at Liverpool rather than the fact their owners are sending them backwards and they are run about as well as a cornershop.

This dickhead promised us Salah was leaving 2 years ago.
I think the same, can't stand him, but if you could have a £1million pound cheque or steve bruces head hollowed out and filled with pound coins which would you have?

Has anyone pointed out that, even at the most he'd be on a week if he hits all targets, he's on wayyyy less than Ronaldo, less than de Gea, similar to what Pogba was on and not a great deal more than Varane and Sancho.

If they signed Salah on a free at 350 a week it would be the greatest signing in their history. Really is amazing the reaction to this from alot of them. I mean he's the best player in the league.

Salah scored 5 goals against your side alone this season.

Who will actually be in for him unless he’ll take dramatically reduced wages in Lisbon?

He’s Mbappe’s hero, maybe Kylian persuades Campos to treat PSG’s frontline like an 8 year old playing FIFA.

The Portugal player believes he has “three or four years” left at the highest level of the game and would like to spend them at a club where he is capable of adding to his team and individual achievements. The state of disrepair at a United that placed faith in, then dismissed, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick last season is such that Ronaldo no longer views his future to be at Old Trafford.
According to close friends, Ronaldo’s affection and respect for United’s support remains as strong as ever.

Of course. If Salah hadn't signed it would have been twisted as Liverpool letting two of their best players go (after Mane), being unable to compete on salary for the biggest players, and a sign of our imminent decline.

Che Neville of Bury is nothing short of a complete embarrassment. He talks utter nonsense most of the time, but he's a product of the vacuous age we live in and the vacuous audience football punditry panders to. In a different age, where quality and insight were prized over shit-stirring nonsense, the likes of Neville would not be indulged with jobs on TV. As it stands though, we live in a world where airhead gobshitery is sold to airhead gobshites, who lap it all up in spades. Neville, sadly, fits right in.

After we won the title I started joking with friends of mine who support United that they could have a longer gap than us when it comes to winning the league. I don't think its that unlikely anymore, 10 years out from Fergie and they're a total mess. If they manage to get themselves together somewhat (which will take at least a few seasons) they'll have to compete with at a minimum, us, Chelsea and the two state owned clubs in the league. I'm sure they will get a great team together eventually but they'll find themselves in the same situation we are in (arguably worse with Newcastle entering the picture), having to be near perfect to win despite having an amazing team and the best manager in the world no team has a god given right to win the league again despite being very successful historically.

Even at 37 he's still a phenomenal penalty box striker, it's a shame he does fuck all else other than that but throw tantrums, but a top team in need of a pure finisher for one season could do a lot worse.
