Depends what it is. Was it dislocated or not?  Maybe it’s broken? Could be a collar bone?

Well according to the transfer thread this summer he was way past his prime, long since missing a step, totally unsuited to The Formation and needed to be replaced immediately by just about any random left footed centre back who might turn out be ok some day, because he was ready for the knackers in football terms, no way back end of discussion.

so i guess we wont miss him at all.

I mean its true , other than his stellar defending and all action attacking and wicked set pieces and motivational hunger and desire and upbeat presence in the dressing room, he's not that important really.

International breaks eh?

I’m interested to know what the current schedule of matches for our best players, who combine club, cup and international football, means for their ability to maintain peak performance.

UEFA and FIFA don’t appear to be at all interested in player welfare. Or am I wrong?

It’s rare, as most of the time it’s dislocation but the bones can still fragment

Yea that can happen on part of it. It just matter of how fast he can get the shoulder stable enough where it doesn't impact his running and jumping for dislocated shoulder.
Hopefully Chambers get a chance. I want to see what he can do.

Time to use Gomez at right back (or left back) with Konate and VVD have more of a defensively solid back three and fully commit to the box midfield with Trent and Mac as a double pivot.

If we need our first choice left back to beat the likes of Everton, Brentford, Luton and Forest then we have a lot more bigger problems.

If it is a dislocated shoulder, it can be pretty minor if it went in and out again or can be far far more serious. When I did mine for the first time I was out of action for 2-3 months, subsequent times I could have played again after 2-3 weeks.

Instinct based on how he reacted...it isn't a terrible one. But, we'll see...fingers crossed.

It looks to me as if we have signed another 'average' player. I'll hold back my complete opinion until I see the lad play

The good news is, it could hardly have happened at a better time. He misses another week of internationals, then the Derby which is a blow, but then we have 3 league games we can definitely make do without.

Probably the bigger problem is whether Tsimikas can withstand playing twice a week for at least a month, that's an unknown.

That isnt in doubt. Personally I dont think Tsimikas is very good at all and definitely a left back should be a player we target next summer.

It’ll probably be Tsimikas but I think Gomez could be quite a useful replacement as he’s more suited to shifting into a back 3 when Trent moves into midfield.

brother in law played football to a good standard in Dublin, he had it happen him loads, eventually used to click it back in place himself, it used to even happen on holidays, got to the stage where it was regular and it wouldnt even bother him, just moved his arms about and he was fine. no time off

With some people though its bad, im sure weve all seen people click it back in and they scream the place down.

I think playing Gomez would be a better option than Tsimikas. I like Tsimikas but this formation doesn't suit him at all to be honest unless he can be the inverting full back but it doesn't make any sense if Trent is available.

If Tsimikas can't play now, then there's no point having him in the squad. People go on about him as if he's a pub player. He's actually a better footballer than Robbo (Robbo is a better athlete).

I don't think so, you don't rack up Robbo's assist numbers unless you're an excellent footballer. I've actually thought Tsimikas has been disappointing almost every time he's played this year, but if we just gave him a new contract Klopp must rate him and that's good enough for me. Hopefully, Chambers will get some time in the cups.
