Robbo/TAA assists aren't the same as they're just kicks into the box, rather than defence-splitting, slide-rule passes by KDB (According to our Man City following family friend).

Most consistent player in the team, 9/10  almost every match. 10/10 for effort regardless. Legend already and if the trophies keep coming will be considered our best ever left back. Even Neville admits he is the best in the world on both sides. Guy has a left foot like Trent but the defensive skills better than anyone at the moment,

I think it's Klopp best ever signing. Everyone else that could fall into that category (Fabinho, Salah, Mane, VVD, Allison etc) all came as known quantities, the latter twocoming at then world record prices (bargains, considering who beat them both for the world record).


He is the best in the business as he is but I think there is a 5+ goal a season player here with the way he strikes the ball and the positions he gets into. That would almost be unfair though.

His assist stats could become even better now that he is taking more corners etc. He had just one assist from a set piece in the last 2 PL seasons, but is already on 2 this year.

Yeah, my only little complaint is that he should shoot more. He gets into great positions.
Fantastic player though, best full back ive seen for Liverpool.
Those numbers are insane when you consider that he hasnt taken set pieces, and that we don't even play with a target man in the box.

Underrated. Probably one of the best Scots that we had. Thats no small feet considering we had King Kenny, Souness, Hansen, Nicol etc. plus  other older generation of Scottish players that I never seen like Liddell, Busby, Lawrence, Yeats , St John etc

He did get a flick that took it away from Phillips for the West Ham goal, but generally, yep.  And as soon as it's cleared, he's tearing off up the pitch after it, he must be an absolute nightmare to defend against as a winger because you're running back to your goal all day long.

He's been dreadful for quite a while now. One of the things which infuriates me about him is he never puts the ball across the box first time. Mane is always in the middle waiting for the curved ball across, but he becomes a lot more difficult to find because Robertson insists on taking not one, but two touches to shift the ball out of his feet before having the confidence in firing the ball across.

I'd probably drop him next weekend and give Tsimikas a chance.

A large reason for why our form has dropped off a cliff. If he doesn't play well, then the left side is effectively dead and we become really easy to defend against.

Problem has been the guy who should have been used to rest him gets injured. And now with an already makeshift defence it's extra risky to play Tsimikas. It's the season that keeps on shafting.
Regardless he's gonna need a breather.

I think him and Fabinho were our best 2 players until Christmas but has fallen off a cliff since then.

We prioritised a left back over a centre back in the summer (knowing the risks) purely so Robertson could share his workload, have competition for his place and also to cover any injury issues which he'd played through in previous years.  Instead Tsimikas has played about 20 minutes all season because he's been injured himself through most of it. Now Robbo has been ran into the ground again. Totally sums the season up.

Would you rest him for Leicester then bring him back for Leipzig?
I think he clearly needs it, possibly with a few more games off when we get past this tricky run of games with Tsimikas starting against Sheffield United. My concern is changing it too much at the back, we need to integrate the new CB lads as well.
