We'll have Sturridge and Lallana to give us a bit of a lift on Monday. Pressure will be immense, can't even fathom the meltdown here if we don't win on Monday, yikes.

Sturridge?  Inst he injured?

Reckon us and United will drop a few more points. It's going to be really close. If we don't beat Watford then forget it. Arsenal are just enough behind for me to not be worried about them to be honest especially with them focusing on the FA cup.

Annoying that we should have ensured breathing space before it got to this but ah well - a lot of times our seasons been over a few games before this stage so bring it on.

Elbows has great talent - better header than I remember.  :D

Good result - but as always, it's up to us to get our results rather than hoping for someone else doing us a favour.

For those interested, the bookies odds are as standing:

City: 1/8
Liverpool: 8/15
United: 9/4-5/2
Arsenal: 4/1

Liverpool  odds are too low, the reality is we are just not very good. Every game we have won against the weaker sides has been a struggle.

EDIT: We are still small favorites over United and Arsenal but 60%+ favorites? Im afraid not. With those odds I would bet Arsenal.

Was he sent off for two yellows? Woukd only be a one game ban, two on most dependent on previous Reds or yellows this season.
Straight red.

Some of these might be out of order, but here is what I think =

City - beat Middlesbrough, beat West Brom, draw with Palace, beat Leicester, beat Watford = 78 points
Us - beat Watford, beat Southampton, draw with West Ham, beat Middlesbrough = 76 points
Arsenal - lose to Spurs, beat United, beat Southampton, beat Stoke, beat Everton, beat Sunderland = 75 points
United - draw with Swansea, lose to Arsenal, draw with Southampton, lose to Spurs, draw with Palace = 67 points

Straight red for the headbutt, and then not leaving the pitch is hardly going to go down well.

Indeed but I will be amazed if we amass 75 points. We have no options to call on, cannot defend against the types of sides we will face and we have too many players in vital positions off form (Origi).

Valid points, but our form is no worse than City or Utd irrespective of our problems. City actually has worse form over the last five matches, and Utd have only amassed one point more. We're still in this, big time.

Origi scored a couple of big goals not so long ago. Lallana at least will be back and we defended OK against West Brom.

Live a little, we might just make it. Where's the fun in talking us out if it already?

As will Lallana hopefully as well. What we could really do with is finding our goals touch again, if we manage to get a few on Monday, it will give us a huge confidence boost, going into our remaining games.

10er on Utd then

United is a bad bet, their fixture congestion will kill them. For me Arsenal is underated and Liverpool and United overated on those odds.

United still have to play a lot of games in a short space of time. They are also losing players too, so I don't think it will be as straight forward as people seem to think.

They might win in the Europa League! :P

They'll lose to Spurs, I think that's probably an easy one to predict. Their unbeaten run has mostly been draws anyway. They also have a lot of problems involving suspensions, injuries and fixture congestion, whilst teams like Swansea and Palace are hardly pushovers.

City wont. United will but they will get 75 points. I dont believe we will get 75 points. 73 at most.
United have won 2 games away from home all season against the current top 11 yet you think they'll real off enough points to get to 75. LFC had won 3 games out of 4, (prior to losing against Palace) yet even though they face weaker opposition in the final 4 games you think they won't mirror the results they had prior to the Palace defeat and finish with 73 points.  :missus

He did but he has looked awful in the last 3 games. I dont think his attacking teammates trust him either.

Ill be honest i hate this race for fourth place. I also hate how much importance Klopp has placed on it. Rather than give interviews about how much 5th wouldnt be success, he should have just emphasised how much progress we have made.

Now it just feels like he has set himself up for oodles of pressure.

73 points is mirroring the results actually.

Bournemouth, Stoke, West Brom, Palace = 7 points. 7 more points in the last fixtures leaves us at 73 and probably without a CL spot.

United won't beat Spurs or Arsenal. Maybe not even Soton.

Maybe it was the game plan - but they looked like a relegation team today.
They don't have to. 2 draws there and 3 wins will get them 75. Can easily see them doing that. They are very good at the back to be fair.

I'm talking about the results we had prior to C.Palace::)

You cant do that, you cant just pretend that result doesnt exist. If you cherry pick the run of good results we had against Burnley, Bournemouth, Stoke and West Brom then it looks great but you cant do that. Our par for course in those games is around 1.75 points per game. Our hope is not actually that our team will suddenly stop having the flaws it has had all season but the fact that some of those teams wont put an 100% effort, specially West Ham if they can help Arsenal and that in 4 games you can get a bit lucky and have results above expectations.

The dynamic of the game will be different. Its like the last big games in front of their fans. They will give it a go and they have experienced players. Im not saying City will drop points but its not as easy as it looks on paper.
