We're not going to lose this game. Our big game record under Jurgen is fucking excellent. Let them think they're going to piss it. We'll go there and push our game on them. They might start well, but we'll impose ourselves upon them. We've dominated nearly every game we've played this season, why would you think we're just going to go there and roll for over for such an ordinary side? We're a good team, accept it, and for Jesus' sake, who cares about the idiot Liverpool fans who post on Red Cafe? They're the classic example of "supporters" who are desperate for approval from rival fans, an embarrassment to any club they support. They've lost the meaning.

Hope they come out and attack as their fans will demand.   If so they could play right into our hands.

I think they'll play pretty cautiously at the beginning and attempt to kill any early momentum/rhythm we might get, and then try and attack. If we can get an early goal it will really screw up their gameplan. Interesting to see if Klopp goes with Origi for a bit of extra pace or Sturridge. Or neither. With Mané we are really lacking pace in the side.

I'm so fucking nervous, but I always am before these big fixtures. I hate losing these games more than I like winning them. It's sad, I know.

Anyway, there's no chance that Mourinho repeats that bus parking gig he did at Anfield in November, and that may just play into our favor as it'll open them up a little bit more. With that being said though, I'd be stunned if we scored more than three goals. Playing at Old Trafford is never easy, and we're going to need a great defensive display. We've never won there when we've conceded 2 or more goals to them in the Premier League era, and there's no reason to think this time will be any different. A smash and grab might be in order.

Listen to our leader. If he can give us fans confidence, imagine what he can do to the players. I am up for it! We'll get something out of this match ...

On United current form
"In all the games they won until they played us, they didn't play against us again, so what can I say? They were different kind of games, some very good games, some had the result they expected, in other games they had a little bit of luck, goals in the right moment. They deserve their run, I know that, but we always expect the players in the best shape and then we start defending them, that's how it is, and it should be more difficult than against all other teams. That's our plan"

On the importance of the game…
"It's important, we cannot ignore this, but the season doesn't end after it, that's another truth. If you want, United, Everton, these games are always important either way - you can be 10th and they can be first, or they are 15th and we are first and makes no difference for the game. It's very important and we know about this, but of course if we could win there it would be nice, actually, but then the next challenge is then already clear"

On our current form
“I can hear it in your questions and I’ve heard it when I’ve spoken to other people, because of our last game it’s a little bit ‘Oh my God… and now Manchester United’ and all that stuff. But give me 11 players and we will be competitive.
That’s the plan and these are not just some players - they are my players and we already know a lot about each other and I know how they react to not-that-good performances. That doesn’t make us weaker, it should make us stronger than the last game for this game and be ready for it.
It’s not about being confident before the game, it’s about getting confidence in the game with the right movements, the right kind of defending and the right kind of causing them problems"

“There is nothing to fear. What could I fear? At this moment, anything is possible. It could be that United are not at their best level on Sunday, just nobody knows about it yet. I don’t fear things like this. I’ve had enough time in the game to realise what happens. At this moment I’m 100% positive, absolutely looking forward to the game"

" We go there and we will line up for this and be really ready for the challenge and we'll try everything to make the difference on the good side"

"We will realise earlier before the game that we are Liverpool, so let’s show this"
Neither party wishes to be bent over backwards but...
coitus will occur

Has everyone seen the Costa news? Dropped after a two with the club allegedly involving a huge offer for him in China. That is exactly the type of situation (losing interest/form or injury) that we all believe would make Chelsea drop points. Fingers crossed that row keeps going till the end of the season then, and puts more pressure on this game for us. A solid win here and we can maybe start to reel on the current leaders and start to pull away from the chasing pack. Come on Redmen.

Hopefully we'll smash them, they've had all the fun of the green lately surely their luck will run out, they can't keep getting dodgy offsides and getting away with two footed challenges. Expect Hendo and Coutinho to start, unsure Matip will. If those start more then enough, Klopp has a excellent record in the big games and it will be low scoring I feel 1-0 maybe to us

There's a tackle by Van Nistleroy on Cole that is a disgrace.

And Ferdinand should have been sent off.

It's possibly one of the worst officiating performances ever seen.

Weird thought occured to me. Is there is more chance of us doing a Mourinho, alehouse - arm wrestle on them this time ? We did it to Manchester City, who, attack wise,I think, are as good if not better than Utd. If we go into the game with Can, Hendo and Gini in the middle and Bobby drops back on to Carrick then we might be the rhythm breakers in this game.
When Pep played Klopp we ended up playing our "B" game, which no-one expected. Who knows the whole Manc universe may well be cursing our negativity come Sunday night ! As long as they are cursing us for something I will be happy.
The really draggy post S'thHmpton feeling is going ...I am on the up again ... Love to win well .. love even more a sneaky one !!

Danny Murphy believes Man Utd have the best attack in the premier league. ::) This is the same Man Utd who have scored 31 goals compared to Liverpool's 48. And in fact scored less goals than all 5 teams above them.

Fucking right Jurgen lad, lets fucking have these.

They're sixth. Listening to pundits you'd swear they were top of the league and unbeaten all season. The money they've spent you'd expect them to have a run at some stage, and they've played nothing but cannonfodder since they beat Spurs.

They're still miles away from where they were.

Anyway, the game'll be a turd as usual and they'll probably take their chances whilst we miss all ours.

Hope I'm wrong and we twat them. Another 'ghost goal' that Jose moans about for a decade would be nice.
