Sturridge was hilarious for Phil`s goal.

He raises his hand to say he scored and was like " Guys, I scored I swear, everyone run to me!!, oh fuck you`re all running to Phil..."

So we're actually only 4 points behind City (currently 3rd) if we win our game in hand. Arsenal are one behind City right now but they also have that game in hand.

City have Stoke (h), Saints (a), Arsenal (h), Swansea (a).

If we win all our remaining 5 games, we would only need them to lose once and draw once, and for United to draw once, to finish 4th.

I'm getting ahead of myself again - finishing the season by winning the last 5 games would give us an 8 game league winning streak. But unlikelier things have happened. Spurs are further away from Leicester and no one's written them off for the title.

Sat rubbing my eyes throughout. Regardless of quality or tactics where was Evertons pride? Even under Hidgeson we beat Chelsea and turned it on ourselves on the pitch. Embaressing from them.

Majestic from us though eh!

It's funny that we've waited 2 years for a Sakho goal and he then scores 2 in 3 games. Life and football is weird like that.

I really like our style of play under Jurgen. It's not always the same and we can attack through many ways. Clyne and Moreno have a big part to play with their runs and overlaps; Coutinho and Firmino getting in between the lines and creating things; Sturridge and Origi being on the shoulder of the last man and the latter now bullying defenders like a seasoned veteran with his strength; Gegenpressing forcing turnovers and deadly counter-attacks. We're also much more of a threat in the air now too (even though our corners still can't beat the first man).

It's all good. Klopp's made me love football again.

Oh without a shadow of a doubt. That Everton side was the worst team I've seen at Anfield all season by a long, long way. Maybe even for the last two seasons. They were totally unorganised, had no spirit, no work ethic... Unbelievable given some of the players they have.

It's weird. We just twatted them 4-0 and I've been sat in bed drinking tea since I got back. No urge to get on the ale, no urge to text the Blues I know rubbing it in... Just a smug sense of satisfaction. That result and performance was visible from a long way off tonight.

Sturridge is loving playing footy again, and that makes me a very happy man indeed. James Milner is a fucking great player as well. There are lots of games which are simply too fast for him (Dortmund away being a fine example) but when he has the time to use the ball, he's absolutely lethal.

 Up the strolling Reds.
"My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea and he conquered the bloody world! And that's what I wanted; for Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in."

Most importantly since our demolition of Villa, our goal difference has sky rocketed upwards, before Villa think our GD was -2, it's now plus 13.

No they wouldn't.

City and Arsenal are third and fourth right now. If City drops those points, Arsenal would just be third if they won all their games.

We don't need to overtake City and Arsenal. We just need to overtake City and United.

The green striped t-shirt guy is the best. It's the unfazed, nonchalant look that does it for me. It's as if he's saying 'What, this shit again? Yeah, I've seen it many times before. No fucks given'.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.
