It's a derby, wouldn't be the first player to take his frustrations out on an opponent near the end. You just need to be canny about it and expect it to protect yourself. He'll get what's coming, the news seems positive regarding Divock's return, we'll be alrigiht. Chance for Sturridge to step up if it's more than 2 weeks.

It was 5 minutes into the second half though.

Admittedly they had been outplayed for 50 minutes by that stage.

Origi's goal was a carbon copy of Sakho's against Dortmund.

In such a sumptuous festival of shite, I wouldn't be so quick to pick a winner..

Everton's defending was absolute horsewank, and our shooting was something to behold, wish we got a few more just to etch the result into Merseyside Derby history.

Great signing and on a free as well.

It is not. Klopp confirmed it. It's ligament - torn or minor sprain needs to be seen. I am still gutted, though. Although I will be optimistic and hope he comes back for the home leg against Villareal.

How many of those assists / goals have been created  from the wide areas?

He is always consistent when playing wide.. especially the right hand side..

But he can struggle in the middle on certain days and hence the criticism..

martinez is truly a knob head - only a yellow.
defend him if you like - its out of character, he mistimed it, wouldn't really want to hurt another player etc but to say it was only yellow makes him look like a total prick.

I don't think even his own players can take him seriously, there's looking on the bright side and then there's delusional. 100 feet up from that Martinez resides where every Everton player is great and there's always something to be learned from getting absolutely ravaged.

No Bobby you're just shit. Your players are shit, you're not very good when you set them up to defend like that. Once upon a time there was a bit of promise about him but he hasn't improved his weakpoints as a coach at all.
