Sure the east side holds more than the west. arsenal will be happy as they've been kicking off about how small there allocation is compaired to last year.

The date and kick-off time of the game will be announced on Thursday 19th March at the earliest, and all 180,000 tickets for both semi-finals will then be printed when kick off has been confirmed.

So it's expected to be Thursday onwards. Hopefully have news by Monday. Surely they aren't waiting till the 8th of April to announce the kick off time with the game on the week after basically.

So why do they get that sort of allocation when their average home attendance is 19,000 for last season and a capacity of 24,000 ?

How hard would it be for them to say something like 'If Liverpool win, they play Sunday at 1730. If Blackburn win, they play Saturday at 1230.' They've probably already got it all planned out like

I also don't think the police would want Liverpool and Villa fans in London at the same time as United, West Brom and Birmingham fans.

The hole punch meant it had been used for loyalty. I think it was just for the 01/02 CL homes. When the CL tickets were silver (grey) and black. You had to take your stubs to the window from previous rounds. When they served you they used a small hole punch to say this ticket had been used as loyalty for this match. I remember queueing up with the previous 3 stubs for the Barcelona match in 2001 (1-3 in the second group stage).

I think they did do loyalty on previous games for Euro aways. When you sent in the European away form, they would check previous attendance and call you in order. I remember waiting for my phone to ring for days waiting for them to call.
Sure I never did that but don't know why. Def went to them all before that, during and after. Was that for STH too? Maybe I have just forgotten but really not ringing any bells! :D

Once again the fans, their pockets and their ability to travel fall last in terms of priority when a game of football is organised.

LFC/Blackburn V Villa should be played at Old Trafford - no excuses about paying for stadiums or that. ITs fuckin bullshit

@henrywinter: Expect @FA to announce FA Cup semi-final times this afternoon (finally). Talks still ongoing with TV, police, TV, transport, TV etc.

http://www.wembleystadium.com/Press/Press-Releases/2015/3/FA-Cup-semi-final-times.aspx

Sunday 19 April will see Aston Villa against either Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers at 3pm on BT Sport 1.

Villa have won the FA Cup on seven occasions and played in the very last final at old Wembley in 2000 when they were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea.

Blackburn Rovers and Liverpool replay at Ewood Park on Wednesday 8 April.

There will be four ticket prices for this season’s FA Cup Semi-Finals, starting at £33 and progressing to £43, £53 and £63 across the two ties with a £10 reduction for concessions as per each club’s own rules.

Reading, Arsenal and Aston Villa, as confirmed Semi-Finalists, will receive the initial club ticket allocation of 31,500.

Saturday 18 April – BBC One
Reading v Arsenal
KO – 5.20pm

Sunday 19 April – BT Sport 1
Aston Villa v Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers
KO – 3pm

If each club gets 31,500 tickets

How would that work out to everyone with the 2 x home games in the FA cup this season?

Blackburn took almost 6,000 seats.

Im confident on 2 x homes getting sorted IF we get to semi

Taking away general sale and 1 home only will only be a 1000 odd plus hospitality package seating I think there still might be a shortfall somewhere...

So am I. But what I am not confident about is the ticket-office's ability to distribute the tickets in the seven working days between a quarter-final replay and a semi-final.

In 2000/1 I was a ST holder, went to every FAC, league and European games home and away....Bucharest, Liberec, Olympiakos, Porto, Barca, Roma spent a fortune, got to the FAC Final and my seaso never qualified !! - I got one of a mate, but total madness. Loyalty over STH's every day

They seemed to choose it at random sometimes. I remember the worthington cup final was sold to all ST initially (loyalty not important) and different days for different stands. The remaining tickets went on a stub sale to non seasies from I remember. It was a nightmare

It's been changing every few years
It's wonderful, it's marvellous, it's 3-3

UEFA Rules state leagues that have teams left in the competition can't play on same night as UEFA competition.  Premier league games now could be played on the same night as them as we had no teams left.

Fa cup draw:

Monday at approx 7.15pm

Fingers crossed we can get another lower league club, given the scheduling, we'll probably need to use a lot of the kids again.
