After our very likely draw/loss on Wednesday, that's the season pretty much wrapped up then. Someone will write a book about what the fuck happened to us between the seasons.

An international break to get our heads down, sort out a proper plan because the current one isn't working. Re-invigorate ourselves. And then? Same old same old.

Dejan Lovren, Glen Johnson and Steven Gerrard this season have been as bad as Meijer, Pieknik, Degen, Kvarme, Diouf ever were. Their reward? More starts. The manager has had chance after chance to drop the under performers who are constantly letting the shirt down, and he quite clearly doesn't have the calls. The fact his captain is also his landlord is fucking insane.

The wrong players were taken off. Lovren is the worst centre back I have seen play for us. We will finish nowhere near top four and the manager is in serious trouble.

Honestly, fuming.

Rodgers has to sort it out. They are now his players, and his team. Barely anyone playing today who was hear before him. If he's not under pressure from above he certainly deserves to be.

I think he's the right man to take the team forward but I just can't see where he is gonna change things. We seem to be going further and further backwards.

This time last year we had fight and a bit of a mean streak. Wednesday is huge, as if it wasn't already.

What can you say after that? Gerrard and Lovren played 90 minutes too many, Gerrard in particular was the worst player on the pitch and lasted 90 minutes, but our best player on the day, Allen, gets hooked off so that we can bring on a defensive midfielder at 1-1

, Brendan got everything wrong again, no game plan, no tactics, nothing is going right.

Any hope of 'turning a corner' this season has gone for me, we've been run ragged by a Colin Wanker side.

The sad thing about that was, the only thing that surprised me was that we managed to score a goal.

Not entirely sure how Rodgers is going to stem the flow here, he needs to really come up big in what will be most difficult test of his career.

Unfortunately that result was all too obvious. One team fought and one team looked liked they had no desire.

Having spent over £100 million to build a team that are outfought by a team like Palace implies that the inevitable will now happen. Maybe one more loss and it will be curtains. Unfortunately if a manager cannot get his team to fight for every ball then I would expect the owners to make a change.
