Watched the last 10 minutes out of shock rather than hope, like an awful car crash. Rodgers position is becoming untenable, it's somehow getting progressively worse.

I usually have to defend Gerrard from over the top criticism but he was awful today, in every facet for me. Especially his passing and the build up play. So slow going forward, he wasn't at the races today. This was a game where he definitely was the wrong choice.

The whole defensive line...it's a sick joke now.

What the fuck was Gerrard doing for their 2nd? There was an angle which showed Ledley walking into the box unopposed, whilst Stevie did the same 10-15 yards away. I spent the majority of that 2nd half laughing at how bad we are.

I was going to post this at half-time but was too late. Nothing's changed, though:

We are a dreadfully poor team at the moment, all over the pitch. No exceptions. It looks like a struggle for anyone to even play at a half-decent level in any given game and there's absolutely no cohesion or gameplan by the looks of things. We have a lot of good and potentially very good players. They haven't been anywhere near good enough this season and I worry about a few of them individually. They also appear to be seriously weak mentally with last season a blip in that regard. Having said all that, they're too good to look this clueless. Brendan and the coaches need to step up quickly because our results and performances have been dire so far this season and if this continues we'll have such a bad year that he'll be lucky to make it to May 2015, let alone beyond it.

I am afraid to say it but there comes a point where you lose/ draw/ play terrible so many times it becomes a slippery slope with no way back.

Whatever the reason, fault it goes too far and the psychological effect is rarely reversed.

Rodgers has absolutely nowhere to hide. He keeps on picking the same under performing players, he is the one who cannot see that Gerrard is an absolute liability at the moment, that Lovren is, that Johnson is, that Skrtel is. This is all him and yet he continues doing the same thing every week. FSG will have a big decision to make at this rate.
