It's quite simple to understand, i.e it's not entirely a new stand it's an expansion and that roof support was already in place,so the obstructed views are not new. Not sure why that's so hard to grasp.

I didn't see the live coverage of the Leicester game - so I don't know if they showed the players coming out of the new tunnel. What does it look like with the 'This is Anfield' sign?

Different. Not as cramped and imposing as the old tunnel, but that was always going to be the case. It looks a bit bare and small at the moment, but I think someone mentioned they are planning to fill the space either side with quotes and banner recreations, etc.

that'd be great and almost necessary, IMO

was a bit jealous of Chelsea's tunnel interior while the players were waiting to come out, what with its walls covered in blue "stuff", almost made the lighting look blue as well

Can't believe people have opinions about tunnels ... that said, the Schalke coal one is pretty cool.  Is there a scouse equivalent to make ours out of?  Line it with dockers maybe.

For those in 305, can you notice a difference in atmosphere in the new stand? Managed to snag a ticket in 305 for the United game. I'd imagine you can't really notice any difference being right up the back?

I think the tunnel should be lined floor to ceiling with a video screen that way we can changing it every time...... maybe show great goals against the team about to walk out!!!!  So would be all red walls and then the bricks fall away and you see the goals, celebrations, the history..... and then

Looks hugely tacky. Hate murals of the players on walls.

Sounds like LFC are doing the right thing though with going for painted banners and flags instead.

Funny, now all the outside is done, miss all the update progress pics on here.Also living not far from the ground I would go up a couple of times a week to check it out myself too,miss that too.

Can't wait for the ARE to hopefully get the go ahead to expand.
