The more games come along the more nervous and apprehensive I am and considering our last performance against Southampton today I am extremely nervous.

But ya know what I'm loving the nerves and excitement before each game because it means that each game is worth something important unlike the last few seasons when sadly our seasons generally been over by now and there hasn't been those nervous feelings for games against the likes of Southampton.

Come on Liverpool - let's make amends for our performance at Anfield against these lot and long may the nerves and apprehension continue  :D

This just multiplied big time - C'mon Liverpool !!!!!

That's some midfield Southampton have, isn't it?

Lallana, Schneiderlin, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Ramirez.  Might be better than United's, honestly.
Managers who have won fewer than three European Cups: Ferguson, Mourinho, Guardiola, Saachi, Hiddink, Hitzfeld, Clough, Happel, Trapattoni, Cruyff, Michels, Lobanovsky, Capello, and many more.
Managers who have won three or more European Cups: Bob Paisley

No draws, go for the win, we have that cushion over the 5th placed team now such that we can take significant risks for a win and a title challenge.

I think Allen in there is really important. Coutinho can drop in if needed to give us more strength in midfield.

Could go either way this.

Good team. Would have been harsh on either of Sterling or Coutinho to make way for Allen. But I think we needed Allen today.

If we're winning we can bring Sterling late on and they'd be pushed back with his pace.

Would probably have started with Sterling ahead of Coutinho on form BUT Sterling off the bench with his pace gives us a big option against tiring legs in the second half.

Allen for Sterling probably means pushing Coutinho wide, which I can't stand. He's so dangerous through the middle, and such a non factor from the wing. Doesn't make sense to me. Especially with the form Sterling has been in. But I guess that's why Rodgers is the manager and I'm a supporter.

Got a good feeling about this one either way.

Sorry, yank term.

When play is restarted = restarts (free kicks, corners, penalties, throw ins).

Nope - they are English terms, and have been used in English football since the very early days, and certainly since the 60's.

In fact, one of the Beatles used to use "for a kick-off" as a phrase. So it must have been popular even in Liverpool in the 50's.

You were in the right. It's shocking that people don't know these terms, as they've been used in British football for decades.
